  1. Weren't some of us recently discussing the John Landis Twilight Zone Movie tragedy?  Apparently Eddie Murphy's comments about Landis have resurfaced and are getting a second look.

  2. That'll do, earthquakes.

He's got a p substantial role this season. I'm so glad he's become a major theater star and renowned character actor in TV. And yes, he's a silver fox. (My fantasy is to lure him back to a hypothetical high-end streaming revival of a certain unrelated soap in his spare time; a man can dream.)

  4. There was just a 6.6 earthquake here in California. The epicenter was thankfully in a low population area with few buildings near Death Valley and I don't think anyone is hurt. If it had have been in a higher population area it would have be a disaster.

People had to learn with J*NNY the first time and apparently some people want to learn all over again to make sure people know how cool they are by telling a troll off over and over and over and over.

It's the overall disruption and the fact that it's an existing known troll derailing discussion after discussion. I think that more than warrants. If it hadn't we wouldn't have been rid of J*NNY to begin with.

@Errol or another mod needs to ban them all. They're doing it because they know the site is slow to respond and loath to ban.

  9. The Atlantic provides a deep-dive analysis of what likely happened to Malaysian flight MH370 and even though the conclusion made about the pilot was what I suspected from the beginning, it is nonetheless a chilling account.

It just seems emotion based and outraged. The rebuttal is weak.

With that I think it's more an example of the new subtitles now hewing very close to the original Japanese language nuance and not necessarily paying attn to the character context, but it's still a step back. I grew up watching that storyline and I'm not happy about it, but I believe it is a foolish error of exactitude. Whereas omitting the profanity is just dumb.

I will never, ever forget Kristina Wagner dancing around Felicia's living room bowlegged singing "Swanee River" rehearsing for this, but this is even worse than that. This scene is second only to the day of The Chew food poisoning in 2013 in my Worst GH Ever.

It takes a unique amount of chutzpah on this planet to pepper your clean-up statement over a public tantrum about a high paying job with phrases like "sometimes even my friends can't believe how passionate I am" and end it with "it's meaningful to believe women". Not sure equating 'believing women' with 'believe me about my Hollywood job' is the right angle here, just saying.

Melissa McCarthy didn't exactly adore working on Mike and Molly while becoming a (more successful) movie star. But did she go on Twitter and throw tantrums in front of a cast made up predominantly of children while headlining the only successful Asian-American sitcom in American history? No. Because unlike Wu, she has not spent the last few years being told by blogs that every word she says is defiant brilliance. Social media amps that ego up for too many people IMO. It's either stan or cancel, there's no in between. This [!@#$%^&*] wouldn't happen pre-Twitter. People knew better.

She's the lead in the show. She's always mad about something. And she wasn't very good in CRA.
