I do not care for Grey's Anatomy, but this is one refreshingly raw interview from Ellen Pompeo: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/features/ellen-pompeo-tvs-20-million-woman-reveals-her-behind-scenes-fight-what-i-deserve-1074978

I saw that some people were upset with her comments about Faye Dunaway, but I thought she was just being honest about a life in Hollywood for actresses (although Dunaway burned a lot of bridges).
@DRW50 I don't know why people are upset about the Faye Dunaway comment. Ellen wasn't insulting Dunaway, she was stating the fact that Faye was a major star and has nothing to show for it, financially, when the men she worked for are filthy rich. Pompeo is making her money and good for her. She's one of the few, like Suzanne Somers and Joan Collins before her, whose willing to talk about what money she's making so that other actresses can know what they're actually worth.
Jamey Giddens, of all people, drew parallels from this interview to the Genie Francis situation - the thing is, he's absolutely right. Not just about how long Pompeo and Francis kept their shows and characters viable and moneymaking for more than a few years, but also in how the networks attempted to use their male leads to leverage them for the salary lowball.
