Full January 10, 1983 episode just uploaded!!!!! :D

OMG OMG OMG!!! 😍😍😍🔥🙌🏾thank you sooo much for finding this and posting it!! Imagine, we’re less than 10 episodes away from Lauren’s 1st appearance!!

  2. Oh how I soooo wish we could find this full encounter with these two!! I'd kill to see the lead up to Nikki going hysterical in Eve's face and Eve slapping her silly!! The chemistry between them is amazing! If only the taper of those Vault edits from 1982-1988 had included this scene! I'm hoping beyond hope one day the full scene will pop up, along with other full episodes from 1983. 🙏🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥 Download this while you can, it's amazing HD quality!!😍😍

Glad you got them! Do they have commercials? That may help. The German episodes dates I think are estimated, because we don't know all the preemptions for 1987, so I'm not surprised they're not synced up.

I have 6/24 as the day that Jill (Brenda) is wearing a white suit and veil and they go to court to finalize Phillip's name change.

Yes they have commercials. The episode labeled 6/19 is incomplete.

Wait are these the same episodes that we are suppose to see on archive?

Pannoni doesn’t always have the correct dates himself so that will play a factor sometimes.

Jess debuted as a temp on 6/19/87 and Brenda was back on 6/22 and officially departed 6/24 with Jess officially taking over on 6/25.

I don’t know if those episodes will be on archive or not. I didn’t realize Pannoni doesn’t always have the right airdates. That would explain a lot. You guys will have to take a look at them when I upload them and see for yourselves. I’m totally lost on what dates they could be. They’re definitely not the right ones according to your info.

  4. So this is weird…I just got the ‘87 episodes and for 6/19, it’s a completely different episode than the one that’s in German in the vault. Jess Walton isn’t in it at all. It’s an episode where BD is in the role and she’s in a red dress talking to David Kimble in her office about getting Phillip III out of Kay’s clutches. And the sources that say Jess debuted on 6/22 are also wrong because in 6/22, BD is also in that episode talking to Kay and Phillip III at the mausoleum. And 6/24 isn’t BD’s last appearance because she isn’t in even in the episode at all. Does anyone have any info on Jess Walton’s actual debut date as Jill in the temporary role and then her next appearance when she officially takes over as Jill when she’s in the white suit talking to David Kimble in Jill’s office at Jabot?

I hope he adds the episodes soon! :D

I didn’t even realize he was still uploading episodes of stuff until I happened to think of his other username on Archive.org and thankfully he still is!! Let’s hope he does!! 🤩🤩 I already emailed him about the possible trade, so I hope that doesn’t keep him from uploading them. Like I said, his site mentioned his trade status is currently closed, so it’ll probably be a little bit of a wait before he responds haha. Keep an eye out for them in the meantime!

    Isn’t 6/22 BD’s last day as Jill?

EDIT: Okay so scratch that, BD’s last episode is 6/24, and Jess Walton officially took over the role on 6/25 (sadddd). But Jess is in 6/19, so that’s good! I so want more Jess from her early days in ‘87!!

  6. Pannoni just put up the following Y&R episodes on his trading site that he’s received:

    -3/30/87

    -6/19/87

    -6/22/87

    -6/24/87

As we know, Jess Walton’s temp debut was 6/19 and official debut was 6/24 (right? LOL), so I’m gonna try to get a trade going to get my hands on them so I can upload them to the vault :). His trade status is closed right now, so as soon as he’s up for trading I’m gonna go for it! :D

  7. Still looking for these! I’m mainly looking for episodes from 1979-80 and 1983. I already have the following episodes from those years:

    -April 14, 1980

    -June 16, 1980

-June 24, 1983 (this one isn’t very good quality, if someone has it in better quality, then I’m definitely open to it)

I really hope someone can help me out. Again, if you’d like to contact me privately and don’t want the public knowing what you have, feel free to do so.

Also, if they’re still on VHS, Beta, U-matic, or any other physical video format, I’m willing to have them transferred and pay for it. :)

I’m also open to edits of those 3 years surrounding or featuring these characters:

    -Kay

    -Jill

    -Nikki

    -Lauren

  8. How close do you all think we classic Y&R fans are, if at all, to the entire series being streamed on some online platform?? Do you all think it could happen this year for the 50th anniversary or in the coming years?? Will it ever happen??

I knew about the archive, but this is the first I've heard of them considering streaming. Hope they're not just being nice lol.

I hope they’re not just being nice either LOL.

Maybe we all just need to flood SONY’s archive email address with questions and/or requests surrounding streaming the entire series. If enough of us do it, they’d have to give more consideration than they have been and see there’s really a market for it!

  10. So somebody that’s in a classic Y&R group that I’m in posted a couple days ago that they emailed the SONY archives and asked if the entire Y&R series exists in their archive and if they ever plan on streaming the show. He got a reply from them stating yes, the entire series is in their archive and they also are considering streaming the entire series. That’s definitely a step in the right direction because before this, I thought they’d had no plans to stream it whatsoever! 😁😁 Do you guys think they’d really do it??

The Leslie/Lorie confrontation where Lorie realizes Leslie is pregnant by Lance but trying to pass the child off as Lucas's would have been more powerful without Leslie being on the verge of collapse and Lorie shrieking. Compare that confrontation to Ashley/Nikki at the ranch where Nikki confronts Ashley about being involved with Victor. Ashley is trying to hold it together while Nikki gets in her face but there's no collapsing or shrieking in that confrontation.

This is true. JLB and VM definitely went over the top in those scenes. The best part is when Lucas comes in and Lorie is just flailing about and he shakes the crap out of her LOL. JLB’s tone in her voice could sometimes be piercing when she really is going off the deep end. Cringeworthy lol.

What is everyone’s favorite y&r years? I have to say 1989-1992 my favorite years.

1979, 1980, and 1983 are my top 3 favorite years of the show (in no specific order). From reading the weekly synopses and the SOD recaps, those are the 3 best years of the show. 1979 and 1983 are my top two, though. Couldn’t choose between the two because both years in my opinion had the best writing, actors, and characters.

For 1979, the Kay/Jill/Suzanne/Derek/Stuart/Liz storyline is hands down the strongest one of that year. Lorie finding out that Leslie’s baby is Lance’s and the aftermath of that are also some strong scenes. Nikki also had some very strong stories that year.

For 1983, there were various strong storylines, even though it’s known as a transition year. Victor’s poisoning and faked death/resurrection, Patty shooting Jack, Dina’s identity found out and the aftermath of that, Jill and Jack in the snowstorm, Jill’s pregnancy lie turned truth, and the Traci/Lauren bullying are the strongest points of the year (I’m partial to Lauren’s first year on the show).

I so hope more shows up from those years in video form. It’s my biggest wish.

@ltm1997 I watched The Talk live to see the TEB segment! It starts at 45 minutes past the hour. She looked amazing!  I’ll put a summary in spoilers in case people plan to watch soon.

Thank you guys for mentioning me!! I watched The Talk as well and, though I was sad they didn’t show her first appearance, Tracey looked AMAZING so I felt it was alright haha! I’m hoping beyond hope they show her first appearance in tomorrow‘s episode like they did for MTS, ED, and BM. Even if it’s just 10 or 15 seconds of it. I just wanna see what she looked and sounded like. They most likely will (I’m holding out hope). I wanna see some stuff from ‘83 since we have so little of her from that year. :D

As a big Adair fan, i see your reasoning. Deborah's Jill didn't really tally with the hell that the character went through in the 70's. Whereas Brenda had that steeliness that came through from being rock bottom as a result of all the drama with Kay.

The Jill that fell for Jerry Douglas' John was different and to me John/Jill with Brenda didn't work as well. The story directionwas part of that and also that Jerry didn't like working with Brenda may have played a part.

I didn’t know Jerry didn’t like working with Brenda! Why is that?? *sips tea* LOL.
