It’s very interesting how no breakdown writer has been credited since Korte/Mulcahey took over. Korte was the last BDW credited on C+D’s last day

Elizabeth Korte and Patrick Mulcahey are credited as HWs as of today’s GH

I'd bet Errol and/or Toups could get the job done
BTW, a thread on the most memorable exit interviews of all time would be fun. Melanie Smith's (Emily Stewart) exit interview from ATWT was a masterpiece for the genre (I've never looked at Greg Beecroft the same). And Edie Lehmann's (GH Katherine Delafield) made me wish her character had as much spunk as she did.
What happened there??

If SBu doesn’t want to be Jason Q, then why does he wax poetically about the Q family on his podcast

Y & R did their writers dirty following the strike. LM said they returned to work and then all got fired.
Where did she say that??

And, I know you're gonna kill me, but is Gina Tognoni the right age to be a Lulu recast?
Gina is a good 10-15 years older

I do think there some scenes that feel different from others so while Chris + Dan are credited, Patrick and Elizabeth have to be making some tweaks. I just can’t wait till Chris and Dan’s names are no longer in the credits

I don't expect Gregory to live much longer, but his scenes with Tracy are more interesting than his scenes with Alexis.
Watch Patrick Mulcahey make me like Gregory when it’s time for him to die

Correct. If we go by what MVJ tweeted and these credits, MVJ was Head Writer while Korte is Co-HW, meaning they weren't equals (like the way Dan and Chris are). Interesting! I always assumed they were equal Co-HWs. Y'all need to notify me when new information like this comes out, so I can update my archive. LOL. Thanks guys.
I did uncover some info about GL and GH from some episodes I uncovered
you’re welcome @Toups

And, remember that the other day Michele Val Jean confirmed it. I tweeted it to her & she replied "Solo." I can get a screen grab of the tweet if you wish to see.
Was it this?

Well, that’s not how it was reflected in the credits, and when Wendy Riche announced MVJ’s promotion in 2000, she also announced Korte’s:
GH places African-American as its new head writer
Val Jean new head scribe of ‘General
Variety article as well with Riche’s announcement in 2000.
MVJ and LK aren’t credited together. I’ll look into it

There’s credits in that episode, and Roger Newman is listed as the Script Writer, not Mulcahey.
Mulcahey (and Courtney Simon) did write a lot of key episodes during this time. Notably, Mulcahey wrote Maureen’s funeral episode which won them the writing Emmy in 1993.
This episode?

The misconception that Liz Korte HW alongside Michele Val Jean in 2001, when it was actually Val Jean solo

The dates in soapcentral for early Guiding Light are totally wrong (and they are used in wikipedia too).
For example, Kathy Roberts was said to have been killed off on March 31st 1958 while il happened on February 27th. It was not shown onscreen (she was accidentally pushed by kids into the traffic while on a wheelchair) but Bert called Meta telling her of the accident. Kathy last appeared on February 14th.
Have any more?

Apparently March 1, 2024 is Chris and Dan’s last episode as HWs

The Doctor who performed the abortion was named Dr. X initially but later revealed as Dr. Frazier.
Yes Erica had the abortion May 10, 1971 and ends up with septicemia. she tries to brush it off as a virus. Dr. X wants to see her but she can't leave the house without raising suspicion. Erica is eventually rushed to the hospital. Though she had made it clear to Jeff she wanted an abortion, he isn't aware she had one when she ends up in hospital.
Mary Kennicott debuts April 26, 1971, just a couple of weeks before Erica has the abortion
This is a very late reply, do you have the script for May 10, 1971?

Yes and that person said he wants to upload throughout 2004 and 2005. I loved those years. Especially John McBain.
Antonio, Jessica, Natalie and them all. They were my childhood and I love seeing them all again
I hope that means they’ll revisit the Killing Club Killer and Tess’ beginning
