I think they've found the right people for the roles of Ana and Nate now but those two who play the twins are terrible and have been terrible. Long overdo for a recast!

Shemar really brought it in yesterday's episode.

She's a long time model and the wife of Singer Miguel. I've never seen her act.

Tika Sumpter (Layla, OLTL) will play the mother of Rainbow Johnson (Tracee Ellis Ross) in an origin-story (and back-door pilot) episode of Black-ish. The current-day version of the role is played by Anna Deveare Smith.
Lol those two look completely different. But I never understood casting a woman lighter than biracial Rainbow to be her black mother.

A WINTER PRINCESS’
A Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere
Friday, January 18 (8 p.m. ET/PT)
Starring: Natalie Hall, Chris McNally
When Carly plans Snowden Peak’s Snow Ball with Jesse, their attraction is undeniable. But when Carly’s twin, Prince Gustav, arrives her royal identity is nearly exposed. As Jesse and Carly decide to hold the ball at Summit Lodge, they make the gala a fundraiser to turn the resort into a year-round destination. But without a celebrity draw, investors aren’t interested, and Snowden Peak is put up for sale. Too bad no one knows any royalty who could entice affluent socialites to the gala, which could raise enough money to make Snowden Peak a four-season resort for royalty and commoners alike.0 -
Mishael Morgan (Y&R) was in Hometown Holiday. A Harlequin Christmas movie which aired on UP TV last night and is also on dvd at Walmart.

Paloma from what I heard was eventually recast and the life got drained from her. I don't think Paloma #2 ever appeared on the NBC version.
Paloma #2 was miscast and JER seemed to losing interest in many characters when they moved over to Direct TV.

New installment to her ongoing Christmas movie series. I wonder if KSJ will reappear in this one

Just saw James Hyde (Sam, PASSIONS) in commercial for Botox. Suffice it to say, it's fitting.
Very fitting. Though he was too young for the role of Sam. Never bought him as old enough to have raised Hank or Noah.

Same for Rome Flynn who currently happens to be holding his own opposite Viola Davis.
He's holding his own? Everything I've seen him in his acting was terrible!

Grief sex, and any other sexual encounter that suggests that people are always ready, willing and able to have sex. I don't know anyone who could get it up after a funeral; let alone in the rented limousine.
Actors sacrificing vanity for an Emmy. Men shaving their heads for cancer stories, (while still working out their biceps), and women forgoing full makeup to demonstrate their commitment to the craft. As Lawrence Olivier said to Dustin Hoffman when Dustin said that he had been up for three nights to appear tired in a scene, "next time try acting, dear boy."
I said plots not acting choices that interfere with your fetishes

Or they get raped, which is just...
I feel like sometimes they do that to gain easy sympathy and fans for newer female characters. Rape, abuse, or cancer are their go to plots for newer female characters or recast female characters instead of giving them decent day to day writing.

I agree and it's at the point now that it's really the majority with every unattached middle-aged woman hooking up with quarter lifers.
And then once these older women are finished with them they past them right down to their daughters or step daughter in Abby's case on Y&R. I saw people pushing for Kyle to hook up with Phyllis like she didn't help raise him when he was a baby.

I'm tired of these younger male characters dating women old enough to be their mother's on the show. When they do it the opposite way with young women and older men they make sure to tell us how inappropriate it is. It's like a rite of passage that every young male must have his first big relationship on the show with and older woman. For the most part I find people in their 20s date people their age.

While these are big issues they aren't plots. These are more like things that annoy you about soaps in general.

Welcome to GH's day to day!
I feel like GH is one of the worst with this. Everyone who would be considered a villain on other soaps is a hero or heroine on that show.

Baby switches! There have been about a billion since 2004. Every other year there's a baby switch. And it never ever impacts the canvas once whoever lost a baby gets their baby back.
On that note, dead babies. Enough. These people lose children as frequently as some people lose socks.
Long-lost children. These writers/execs think that just making someone related to a main family will make us care. They don't bother with having it make sense with the characters or the timeline of the show, as long as your Bright Shiny New Thing shares DNA with someone we care about we'll fall in line. See: Ethan on GH, Anna's random son with Faison on GH, Niki and Paul's impossible son on Y&R, Nina's child on GH no one gives a sh!t about on GH because no one likes her, etc.
You basically covered my issue with long lost children on soaps. Make work for some viewers but it sure isn't working for me.

NBC tried a websoap before everyone else was doing it. They gave one to one of the worst actors on Daytime and it wasn't memorable.
