Nate has really adapted well to being a Dingle, including acquiring their incredible hypocrisy. I'm not condoning what Tracy and Caleb did, but has Nate forgotten that he had an affair with Moira, his own father's wife??

15 hours ago, Althea Davis said:
Soaps need to have anti-heroes. I don't know if you watched in the 90s, but back in the day Sheila was daytime's greatest villain. I agree that she is over-exposed and stupidly written... but I wanted to see her redeemed or just transformed into an interesting anti-hero of the 2024 day. What Bradley did was use her for cheap tricks and in the end he burned her in the microwave like he does with everyone else.
But Sheila has done far too many heinous things to ever be redeemed into an anti-hero. That's part of the problem soaps have with their charismatic villains. They take them too far before they realize that the character could be useful in the future.

Frankly I would feel a bit cheated if Steffy was the one to finally take Sheila done. That "honour" should go to Lauren.
Stephanie would have been an ok choice as well, but that's not possible anymore, for obvious reasons.

This story has gone from 0 to 100 so fast. Too fast. There was no build-up whatsoever.

One of the most iconic moments in sports in the 1980s. 40 years later it's still breathtaking, but back then it was revolutionary.

So now we have Charity with PTSD, Belle is being abused, Eric has Parkinson's disease, Chas has cancer and we just had a car crash that killed a teenager....
Emmerdale is all about fun these days, ain't it?

I have to say they did a marvelous job with the casting of Sydney Kathrann Smith. She really does look like a young version of Alice Horton.

I never thought I'd say this because I usually like winter, but....

I'm sure no one will be surprised if the name ABBA is mentioned once or twice during this year's contest.....it being 50 years since "Waterloo".
But for me the big story of the year is the return of Luxembourg!!
One of the original participants and the country that has given us Eurovision-classics like "Poupée de cire, poupée de son", "L'amour est bleu" and "Après toi"! I don't expect songs of that calibre again, but it's good to have them back.

So, after literally months, we're heading back towards Sheila vs Steffy again? Brad Bell seriously needs to step down as headwriter if he wants this show to survive. He has lost all creativity and just keeps circling round and round.
