I thought it was the other way around.  Actually, I think it was on another board where I read that SSH cold-cocked KS in the ladies' restroom (which had me on the floor laughing for some reason).

I can see SSH doing that (lol) but the newspapers and magazines at the time reported that it was Kaye who physically attacked Susan.  I have a clipping I'll try to find.

  2. The Nick-propping was at its worst during the Pollock era.  Everything was seen from his point-of-view.  He could do no wrong.  At least the writers prior to the Pollocks used to have other characters occasionally call out Nick on his bad behavior.  If Nick wasn't featured, all the other characters talked about him, even after GG left.  It's only since the Pollocks left that he hasn't been mentioned very much.  I am not looking forward to his return.  Yoking Althea to Nick has ruined her character (for me).

  3. The description of Julie being sensuous is always how I think of her from that period.  Bell wrote Lori on Y&R in a similar manner.  I was disappointed with Susan's material at Y&R.  Supposedly, Bell created the role of Stephanie on B&B with Susan in mind but she turned it down because she wanted to go back to Days.  I guess it would have been better for her career if she had accepted it.

They've had the real recordings on the show of popular songs of 1975 lately. The Carpenters' "Only Yesterday" played as Alan was thinking of Toni. John Lennon's "Bless You" was playing on Stacy's record player as she and Rico prepared to, ahem, play some "fun and games".

Speaking of Stacy, that character has rocks for brains. It's a good thing she's an art student and not a med student. I wouldn't trust that flake with a paintbrush, much less a scalpel. 😨

They also played the theme from "Summer of '42" under one of the Mike and Toni scenes.

  5. The Pollocks have made almost every character unlikeable.  I also didn’t enjoy their obsession with the character of Nick, which still isn’t over, six months after Gerald Gordon left.  Nick could do no wrong in their eyes, no matter how violent, uncaring, and/or misogynistic his behavior.
