It may be.  He told the same story when Bill received the Lifetime Achievement Emmy.

Bill lived a full life but I'm still sad to read the news.  It's hard to imagine Susan without him.  She was devoted to him.

@DRW50 I think Link left ATWT in 1969.  Peter Galman replaced him, and then C. David Colson.  I can't remember whether Jody had an exit story either.  I think both he and Liz just disappeared.  Must not have been a significant goodbye, if I forgot it that fast, lol.

Well, it's a terrible sign for me, lol.

I think Flannery left in late May 1975; Oliver replaced her in Oct. 1975;  Oliver left in June 1976; Forsyth replaced Oliver in August 1976.  @JAS0N47 has the exact dates, no doubt.

I assumed Marlena was brought on as a love interest for Don.  His engagement to Julie was going to be over by October 1976.

@slick jonesNo luck finding answers to your questions about SFT.  However, I did find a few blurbs that said Cathy Burns' character was named, Marcia.  Of course, the newspapers didn't always get those things right either.

Thanks @JAS0N47.  Enjoyed reading the script with Farrah's appearance.  Have seen Bill Hayes talk about it, as well as Farrah mentioning it in a magazine article.  She spoke positively about her experience.
