Speaking of 1980, where was the intent behind bringing on Darcy, Alan, and Brad? Do you think they were trying to freshen things up?

Just now seeing this and I see there are some great responses. At that point of the show, I just think they were trying to draw in a younger audience. The show was still airing at 2:30pm ET and it had very strong competition.

  2. I'm so glad Retro is airing 1980 episodes again Saturdays.  On this particular episode Viveca Strand is on the table getting a massage and I was thinking how high is that masseuse's hand going to go? 😆

They just aged Molly... again, with this new Molly. WHEW.

She's 39. I'm hoping she's a temp, but they didn't say that when they announced her today.

Why are we getting more and more characters dressed in full office attire when they're at the pool? It's ridiculous -- especially in all black like Maxie.

I said basically the same thing on another forum, but the excuse bingo was getting out of control, so I gave up.

And then she tells Liam to go back to Steffy when she KNOWS Steffy is married. I guess Saint Hope doesn't care about Finn at all.

I don't think it has anything to do with Hope not caring about Finn. I think she's just focused on Liam and how he has played between her Steffy that Finn doesn't come to mind.

I am sure there have been many harrowing moments from Edge of Night!

Yes, there are, but that one sticks out for me because I needed to be somewhere that day Molly shot Raven and there was no way leaving my house until the show went  off at 4:30. I remember been shook by the whole thing and couldn't wait to until the next episode. I was still in my teens then.

  6. That time Molly Sherwood "shot" Raven Swift on The Edge of Night and it appeared that she was dead. Two episodes later Molly is walking up the stairs after tying up April in the basement and when she reaches the top and opens the door, Raven is right there and Molly goes crashing back down the stairs to her death.

Probably the best examples to illustrate how poorly run this show is are in Friday's episode.

You have grown children barrage their father again about choosing their mother over his wife. You love your Dad? Fine. But why be so heavy handed? And if it's kismet then why does Ridge need to be convinced? It didn't seem like he chose Taylor.

You hit the nail on the head. It makes no sense at all.

I was on another site and "Tridge" has a lot of fans.  I just don't get it. Shouldn't Taylor be in jail for shooting Bill?
