  1. I don't think there is a new episode of L&HH NY until December 30...correct me if I'm wrong.

Enjoying this new season. I'm not sure how the ratings are holding up but I kind of hope they don't do another cast overall next season because I'm enjoying getting to know some of the new characters, as appalling and as flawed as they are (Peter/Amina/Tara, Erica/Saigon, a bit disappointed K. Michelle doesn't do much, but whatevs).

  2. Yeah, I feel like vh1 doesn't even want to air another BW season for fear of backlash (I haven't even seen a supertrailer-just that 20 second clip Eric posted). I assume this will be the season of redemption for Ev and maybe Tami. Out of habit, I'll watch this new season.

BTW, Has anyone heard anything new about Basketball Wives LA? Saw some pics of Jackie and I think Brooke out and about, but I haven't heard anything concrete.

  3. That's the first I've heard of the two hour OC special. I'm looking forward to it! OC has always been my favorite franchise, I even have the early seasons on DVD. Congrats to Viki for still being an integral cast member after seven years and the original Real Housewife. Between the rumors of her having a boyfriend while she was married to Dom, the chin implant, the on-again/off-again friendship with Tamra and the new family dynamics with Briana/Ryan, I'm sure she's going to bring the drama this season!

I heard all of late last year that Alexis decided to quit the show. Does she quit mid-season or did she change her mind? Really love her new haircut.

  4. Hey BoldBeauty, thanks for the amazing Revenge recap! The first half of this season has been pretty complex, so I feel that a refresher course is needed. I think I'm in the minority, but I absolutely love Emily and Aiden together. I like how they can take on different acts of vengeance together (physical, mental) and they understand each other. Adds an interesting element to the show (not downplaying Nolan/Emily's friendship, which, I definitely feel that we need more of in the second half.)

  5. LMAO! I Dream of Stebbie!!! VH1 totally needs to make that happen. Part one was so messy, I loved it.

Speaking of spin offs, just caught a promo for "Chrissy and Mr. Jones" that premieres in a few weeks. Guess they are replacing "Ev and Ocho". (which is a good thing, I don't condone dom. violence and I'm glad VH1 pulled it off their sched quickly) It looks like it may be produced by Monami if that's the case I guess Chrissy and Mona made up for the proposes of having a spin off? However, I'm looking forward to seeing what Nancy has to say this time around.

(Sorry if this was discussed earlier, I've been so busy with getting ready for my new job and grad school, I can only glance at a few post once in a while :P)

  6. Phadrea & Kandi had me rolling on the floor when they were picking up Marlo's money. All in all, I'm really enjoying their South Africa trip.

Kim didn't come across as sober to me, at all. I wish her the best, but she was slurring her words, going on about medication doses, more excuses, etc. Even Kyle seemed a bit uncomfortable.

  7. I'm glad OC is back for a seventh season. Had class tonight so I have yet to watch or tape tonight's episode but I can talk about the first episode. Outside of Beverly Hills I found the OC women to be the most intriguing (maybe its because we've known most of them for a very long time - i.e. Viki and Tamra to an extent) and the least overexposed. I think Gretchen/Tamra mending fences was a suggestion by the producers, but hey, if this means the women can travel around and have a few good laughs - I'm all for it. Clearly everything won't be perfect between the two because of the Slade factor, but the season 6 reunion was really rough to watch, it had gotten very nasty between G/T, so this could be a breath of fresh air.

I'm glad they brought Peggy back to 'wrap up her storyline' for the first few(?) episodes, I really liked her last season and was sad to hear she wasn't returning. I knew Heather Durbow was joining the cast, but I didn't know Heather Paige Kent was joining the cast! I was so excited to hear that news a few days ago. She was in some of my favorite, failed network shows over the years including CBS's "That's Life" and NBC's "Jenny" (back when I was a hugee JennyMcC fan.)

I just hope Bravo didn't order like, 19, 20 episodes of RHOC this season. I feel like when they extend and stretch out seasons, the audience ends up watching a LOT of filler, and sometimes boring material (i.e. New Jersey Season 3, Atlanta Season 4 - we're only halfway through!, and BH season 2 to an extent (I actually quite enjoyed this season of Bev Hills and liked every episode but other viewers tend to disagree.) I think 13-14 eppys is just enough & I can't wait to get this season started!

  8. I'm on board with you, Cat - I'm really not feeling Melissa/Kathy on RHONJ.. I feel like they're being force fed down our throats and being shown in a "positive" light.

Honestly, I'm a little bored by this season. I'm kind of dreading the fact that there's 18 episodes, that will take us to early September. I think things will pick up once the women go on vacation, but man, drop the Christmas themes already. How many Christmas parties/Christmas Eve/Christmas Day episodes do they have to show?

  9. I just watched NYC Reunion Part 1 this morning (I'm behind in a lot of shows thanks to my internship), and it was difficult to watch. These women were just downright brutal to each other. Even Andy was disgusted by their behavior. The only person I really respected was Sonja because she really explained her behavior this season and you just tell her heart is broken by everything she's dealt with since her marriage fell apart. She is a great addition.

The BH trailer looks great! Very excited for September! Good news I heard earlier this week is that OC was renewed for seventh season! Woo!

  10. I'm a bit behind in the Housewives world, by two episodes or so, but I just watched the NJ Season 3 premiere last night. UNBELIEVABLE. I didn't know how this show would create that "intense" drama without psychotic Danielle, but sure enough it proved to be better than ever. I find myself rooting for Theresa when it comes to this Melissa/Joe battle.

The women of NYC are becoming a little unbearable. I really can't stand Ramona's combativeness this year, Sonja amping up the bitchy behavior (which is fun, but needs to be toned down), or Jill being Jill. I actually really like Kelly this year, as strange as it sounds.

  11. Principal Figgens: And now performing the hit single ‘Tik’ and also ‘Tok’ by rapper ‘Ke’ dollar sign ‘Ha,’ the New Directions.

LMAO! I LOVED that quote. Every time I see Ke$ha's name, I immediately think of "Ke-dollar sign-Ha."

I feel like Glee is losing a bit of its magic. Maybe the last few episodes of season two will make up for a few of those lackluster storylines.

  12. I can't seem to get into the Miami series, I'll put it on hold for now, but honestly, it's a bit boring. There's no way I can classify this as a Housewives franchise, they should've kept it as Miami Social Club.

OC premiere was great. I'm a bit biased, but this is my favorite franchise. I love the women and the petty/catty drama they bring. (i.e. Tamra and Gretchen's evil eye spat) I can't wait for Tamra vs. Jeana.

  13. I really enjoyed the first season of NJ. I ended up taping all 8-9 episodes when they ran a marathon during Thanksgiving/Black Friday and I was hooked instantly. There's not a lot of substance there, but an incredible amount of drama.

I hope they bring back DC, but what sad to hear the Bravo cameras weren't there when Stacie met her biological father. Would've like to see that integrated into season two.

Speaking of Cat's book, has it been released yet?

  14. I kind of hope they sign Brandi Glanville, Eddie Cibrian's ex. She's best friends with Cedric and Brandi's constantly selling her story to the tabloids about Eddie/Leann, so I'm sure she'd bring the drama. Hope they start shooting soon, is there any other RH series that are filming now besides NYC? I think they finished taping season 3 of NJ after the holidays.

  15. Miami looks kind of boring, judging from the small preview. I'm sure I'll watch it, but I'm not really that exciting for ANOTHER new cast - especially when I've been looking forward to the NYC women since last summer.

I think the reason they are delaying NYC is because the footage may not be that great, at least that's what one article from Popeater was implying. I guess with Bethenny no longer on the show, there's a much different feel to it.

  16. I'm three episodes behind with the Beverly Hills women. I feel kind of out of sync with this show. I might have to rewatch a few episodes because I'm just not feeling the drama yet.

Atlanta has been fantastic this season, I loved Sunday's episode with the spa day from hell. Phaedra vs. Kim!!!!! "I don't walk around talkin about Big Poppa is in foreclosure."

Is that rumor about NeNe being pregnant true?? I've seen it floating around the internet the last few weeks but I'm not sure how much merit it has.

  17. I'm halfway through season 8 - GREAT season! You guys weren't kidding when you said Tiffani Thiessen really carried the second half, especially with the Noah/Valerie date rape storyline. I even enjoyed the whole Noah/Donna/David/Valerie triangle.

I was disappointed when Brandon cheated on Kelly with Emma..felt a tiny bit out of character for him. Very excited to see how they resolve Kelly/Brandon + JP's exit in the end of season 8/beginning of season 9.

  18. Yup, I'm a Housewives fan! Personally, my fav is OC. The women are so interesting here, I love the drama. New Jersey is great too, season 2 looks AMAZING.

I'm starting to finally get into NYC Housewives. This Jill vs. Bethney war is great, at first I was on Team Jill, but after the 'The Ambush' episode, I felt terrible for B. I'm enjoying the season though.

  19. I'm half way through season 7 now, just finished the Christmas episode. There's really no heavy hitting story lines besides Val's fake pregnancy/abortion and David's problems, everything is pretty light so far. If I'm not mistaken, I think this is the season Donna loses her virginity to David. So far it's a pretty decent season. Season six was okay, I just hated how Colin was a main character throughout.

  20. Since I recently upgraded to digital cable in August, I finally am able to catch up with the entire series of BH90210 on SoapNet. So far, I've managed to watch most of Season 3 (Brenda/Kelly/Dylan triangle really started to heat up when I first tuned in), which season 3 is probably the profound season for the series I would say, and I think, the most watched. Season 4 was a bit of a dud for me, the only things I really remember from this season is David's addiction to meth and his eventual breakup with Donna, Andrea's surprise pregnancy and quickie marriage (which, when we were first introduced to Jesse, I really thought those two could stick it out for the long run and be a 'top couple' but obviously, both exit in season 5 and at the end of that season, I started to realize how rushed Andrea's storyline was and what an incredible turnaround from when we first met her (I did not watch the first three seasons, but I have seen a few of the very first episodes.) Obviously, the big storyline in S4 is the firing of SD and I really started to see the limitations on her character that season, she barely had a storyline. I remember her vaguely having a romance with a very wealthy guy by the name of Stuart, they were going to get married or hitched in Vegas and I really don't remember seeing him again (he was definitely a bit shady.) Now watching the A&E Biography on 90210, they spoke about how SD would constantly show up on set late and I really noticed that toward the end of that season. I thought one of her best episodes was the 1970's flashback when she admitted to Cindy how much she truly loved Dylan.. and of course that cliffhanger! I'm not sure what the future holds for those too (Dylan/Brenda), but I do know now SD doesn't pop up again until 2008.

Now, season 5. How I LOVE this season. This really is the season when things really start to change on the show and you see how it turns into a true soapy dramatic series, which I think I'm really going to enjoy. I love love LOVE Tiffani-Amber Thiessen! Val really made a lasting impression on me in her first few episodes and I really am excited to see what trouble she stirs up in the coming seasons. Dylan and Val were sexy, they had some great chemistry there. In this season alone she went after Steve, Ray (who I LOVE, what a shame, I really am not looking forward to see Ray push Donna down the steps.), and even Brandon to an extent. I love her feisty attitude, how she makes no mistakes for who she is and how she is always planning her next move. I really hope they do not change her character into a Kelly-clone and make her sweet and adorable. More quick notes about season 5: I like Brandon/Kelly, however, I feel there's something missing between them, I really like the character of Clare, I've heard some rumblings about her and Steve, that should be good because Steve, to this point, hasn't really had a steady girlfriend in sometime, expect for the girl he met on that dating show years ago.

This weekend, SoapNet is wrapping up season 5 and start season 6 (Luke Perry's last season until he returns later in the decade.)
