Danielle Collins had surgery to deal with hers. It can be a very serious condition.

People tend to treat menstruation as nbd but it can be very disruptive to one’s life and it’s not discussed. Years later, Steffi Graf once admitted that she had lost a very important match after she experienced really bad menstrual cramps. It can also cause headaches and nausea, even vomiting. From memory, Serena was really the first player that I remembered to have openly stated in an interview that she sometimes experienced period headaches.

At 55, I still have periods but they seem to be winding down.  Hopefully, the big M is nearing the end.  In my younger days, once a quarter, I had the worst periods.  Nausea, headaches and no energy.  I didn't know which month but I knew 4 times a year, I would be down bad!  However, I just don't understand why there needs to be a conversation in tennis about this.  There's no solution.  Stop the tourney until all the women have had their monthly?  The players who are on don't play?  There's just no conversation here IMHO.

Oof. Krejcikova dropped 2,269 points today, failing to defend her RG title. She only falls from 2 to 12, but ouch still. I wonder how much further she’ll tumble in the coming months.

For the life of me, I don't understand why she didn't play at least one warm up tourney.

  3. The show is hitting it out of the park!  I'm disappointed that Walker still doesn't speak up for herself.  She should have told Lister she didn't want her visiting an old girlfriend.  On the same note, I don't like how Lister has made herself responsible for Walker.  I'm hoping by the end of the season, Walker stands up for herself because if/when she falls apart, it will be Lister's fault in everyone's eyes.

Lister not being acknowledger as a shareholder has my full attention because I can't wait to see what she does with this.

Giving Sowden a twin makes me happy because I really like the actor but did we need to make him an identical boozehound as well?

    Iga just so dominant.

She is creating time to hit the ball from anywhere.  Right now, the other ladies are fighting for runner up trophies because Iga has a lock on WTA tournies!

Isner’s  brand of tennis is unwatchable to me, regardless of who he plays.

I don't watch Izzzzzzner at all but it's was great to see that score line when I started my matches.

    Now this is impressive!

That Shapo clip was funny but dude needs to calm down a bit, okay, a lot.  LOL  If he is able to win big tournaments, he can play the role of John McEnroe. However, if he's not able to win, he's going to be another Nick Kyrgios.

Shapo has been on edge for a while now.  He may need some time off.

Coco is about to be a footnote if something doesn't happen really quick.  I said it about 6 months ago - this is the year that something should be happening.  I'm not saying wins, but Quarters and Semis very regularly - consistency.  And it's not there.  I think she's done.

This!  She is not making deep runs.  She brings the same thing to every match.  Even just winning the 2nd set yesterday against Halep could have helped her confidence.  She's in a rut and her father needs to add someone to the team.

People is reporting it was suicide, but this has't been confirmed :(

I have no doubt it was suicide.  When the sisters said she died of mental illness, I knew what was up.  So sad.  Gotta check on our friends and family just to make sure they are good.

  9. Poor Coco Guaff.  Dad to busy thinking he's going to be the next Richard Williams he doesn't realize she's not getting younger or better to add someone to the team.  She did better as a 15 year old than she's doing now.

  10. If Big Foe can't close out these matches in the minimum required sets, he will be held to one title for his entire career.  I really wanted Estoril for him.  So much fun to watch and I'm so hoping for a deep run in a Slam this year.  Grass is out of the question so RG or USO.
