So Carly and Claudia together are leading the show into the ground in terms of ratings (both #1 year-to-date with appearances in 70 episodes out of 84, each)? On top of that, Claudia by herself has brought GH down to record lows in 3 big categories? Sarah, please...I know it isn't politically correct of me, why did you return as Claudia? Why not a character outside of the mob world? Why?

We were talking about this on the GH monthly thread. I have no clue why the demos have suddenly dropped. If people were only watching to see the mob stories, they would have left already. Plus the demos have been dropping since last year. The toxic balls story did not even give them a bump. It is possible that people have other things to do at 3:00 p.m. or whenever GH is aired.

I think it makes sense younger people would not like GH. What was always at the very top of the 18034 and 12-17 demographics? Passions. GH is about as far removed from that as a soap can get. Young people, if I remember being young right, like fun, hot people, sex, and crazy cliffhangers they can say "OH MY GOD" about. There is only so much of Robin being a horror show to her husband, Claudia sitting in her living room watching DVDs and Carly moping about fighting back tears a person can stand. Why watch that when you can watch Galen Gering acting cute and lovable instead?
