  1. Past hour
  2. God bless Sheri Anderson. She really believed introducing Johnny, Lacey, Jack & Lainie Bauer and Chelsea Reardon would help restore two of GL's core families.
  3. Kevin Anderson has withdrawn from the US open.
  4. I never made it through an episode of Bethenny Ever After because *her voice* for one hour straight is... woah. She alwsys seemed to be complaining a lot. Also, unlike S3 RHONY where there seemed to be some love between the two, there no longer seemed any connection between her and Hoppy after Bryn was born. This is going to sound weird but watching Hoppy on RHONY, I felt like he had this soft, calm voice, but behind the eyes.... I don't know, it's not really proof one way or another of what kind of person he is, it was just a feeling. Someone very tightly wound, perfectionist, who was a few messily-folded towels away from snapping. Both he and Bethenny seem extremely controlling, which is a recipe for disaster.
  5. ^ Thank you @BoldRestless !
  6. Today
  7. Lol we always joked Chelsea was an alien from a parallel dimension masquerading as a Reardon.
  8. Finally listening to the "Like A Prayer" album for the first time. I am only 30 years late.

You mean you haven't heard the dance version of Secret?

  9. I thought Rea was an interesting character. It was also the only really good story Chelsea ever got.
  10. I've always valued Days for its entertainment value and for the fact it always felt like the most P&G soap a non-P&G soap has ever gotten. When Days' lost its entertainment factor under Langan, Higley 1.0, Reilly 2.0, Sheffer, Higley 2.0, Poulter & Thomas, and Higley 3.0 and Griffith, something is surely rotten. I remember your epic criticism of Thom Racina a few years back
  11. That was it, yes. The beginning of The End for quality storytelling on DAYS.
  12. The Facts Of Life premiered today August 24, 1979. Happy Anniversary
  13. What did everyone think of "Looney" Rae Rooney there in 1989/1990?
  14. Lol, 42 years? Was that when Pat Falken Smith was axed the first time around in spite of winning two Emmys?
  15. It was 42 years ago, actually. Sigh, encore!
  16. I actually didn’t dislike Hoppy. Honestly watching Bethenny Ever After started my extreme dislike of her. She was terrible to him and his family. I feel like he got used, and lost his [!@#$%^&*] once he realized she was only with him to get a baby.
  17. Yeah. I can see all that. I can also see Abby being the one to notice Elena and Nate first. Maybe catch them in the act. Then they play the will she won't she tell Devon for a little while. But I think dramatisdreamer is correct, it'll be told from Abby's POV despite folks seemingly being more invested in Devon's pairing with Elena than Abby and Nate
  18. January 31, 1986 (repost) February 11, 1986 February 14, 1986 March 27, 1986 March 28, 1986
  19. I could see them doing a quad with Devon/Elena/Nate/Abby. (And I have always liked Abby's chemistry with Devon). Elena has been asking Nate about Abby and has encouraged Nate to not pursue Abby as hard. I could see Abby eventually being moved out of their orbit though, MM come back. Maybe something will happen with Devon/Abby. Though maybe she will be removed from that orbit once or by the time that MM may come back. I could see a situation where her and Nate just end things because they aren't on the same page in regards to the type of relationship they both want. Or maybe she will notice he has feelings for Elena and will end things. Maybe she will warn Devon and then be done with that group. If she does end up being removed from the group, I wonder who she may end up being paired with next. Maybe Rey.
  20. It could just be a scare with the will. Also could be a fake planted will story. It really could be anything. I can see the show deciding that Devon can't have back up money and taking it to give more stakes to HWG. Though, I think it being Neil's legacy is more than enough. It's been enough for Jack with jabot. I am not so sure about Mariah fans. Most of FB loves Mariah and they hated she was gay. Recall most her fans wanted her to have Hilary's entire life with Devon cause "Hilary didn't deserve it". Mariah fans aren't necessarily Teriah fans. If Elena cheats on Devon with Nate, you'd be right that Abby will get the story while Devon is an afterthought. I can just see him now going to Nate and defending Abby's honor without ever mentioning Nate's betrayal of him.
  21. Here are some more spoilers for B&B for next week from the Zap2it website: Ridge and Brooke's marriage will hang in the balance after he accuses her of an unspeakable crime, and Liam will attempt to convince Hope that Thomas got himself in his current predicament. Ridge will express his disbelief towards Brooke's explanation and Thomas's actions. Shauna will come clean to Quinn and ask her friend to help get Flo out of prison. Ridge will become furious when he sees Liam scorn an unconscious Thomas. The Forresters, Spencers and Logans will struggle with whether or not Thomas will survive his injuries. Detective Sanchez will question Ridge and Brooke hard about Thomas's fall. Vincent Irizarry should also be be showing up soon. It looks like his character Dr. Jordan Armstrong may be Thomas's doctor, who will tend to him after his fall.
  22. Ah thanks, I was trying to think of what all was going on around that same time after the first half of '89 had been absolutely stellar. I know the Dana Jones/Beth stuff, Neil's murder, and Looney Rae Rooney weren't all that well received either.
  23. Alan-Michael has always been a character that I feel was desperately needed the last 10 years of the show. He was the one character that tied the Bauers and Spauldings together. The story potential for Alan Michael should've been endless. And yes, I am ignoring the stint with Michael E. Dempsey because that was NOT Alan Michael. I'd like to forget about that all together. When GH fired Ric Hearst, they really should've coaxed him to go to GL instead of tossing him on B&B as Whip, which went nowhere.
