    • Nina is going to eat Willow, who isn’t a very strong actress, alive.
    • I could definitely see some similarities between the two (so it's a great recast when you think about it) but Watros was so much better. I can tolerate Stafford more than some but she can be very grating and she has annoying tics, especially as Nina.    I'm waiting to see Watros does with bitchy Nina. We got nice Nina and they had her make the rounds with Valentin and Curtis (and a side of Jax) which was smart.   She was. It was bizarre. It was like she or Nina was itching for her coke fix.
    • I would have rather seen them do something with that storyline (like maybe she had problems with an ex boyfriend) and kept Fen and built a romance with him and Ana. But they just ended up using that secret to introduce Elena and give Devon a romance with her, which IMO, right now is a bit of a dud. (Largely because they are IMO giving Elena a weak storyline where she is uncomfortable with his wealth).   I don't think that Josh really wants to invest much in Ana, and that's why she's not getting much of a storyline. He threw her in there with Tessa/Mariah and it looked like that storyline could have taken multiple unappealing directions. And now she's clashing with Devon again over something they really shouldn't be clashing over. I wish she would get a better storyline, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. (if ever).
    • After a slow opener which made me doubt the wisdom of giving this a second series, this episode was SO GOOD. All these ugly little secrets from last year exposed! I will be intrigued to see where it goes from here. The actor who plays Madeline's hubby was especially good. I remember last year he shone, too. Madeline's kids are awful (especially the up-her-own-ass Abigail) but kudos on the casting for all the kids. Ziggy is a stand out, and those twins are Alexander Skarsgard's mini-mes.   I love how un-Streepy Meryl Streep is. She is playing Mary Louise with simplicity but without losing her mystery. I am still not sure what her ulterior motive might be regarding Celeste.    Oh! I forgot to mention Zoe Kravitz! I love how her character is being fleshed out finally, torn up with guilt (and possibly this might not be the first time she acted on her anger -- hence the yoga). She is unapologetically seething at the people around her, and that is only building.
    • I wish they'd kept playing the mystery of why Ana wanted to stay behind the scenes. I felt like they were taking it in a more interesting dramatic direction that could've centered on Ana more. They could've done a spin on the R Kelly scandal but instead it went nowhere.
