Startled by Jack's appearance--pale, noticably thinner and a rough beard, Carly tells him he looks like hell. Jack laughs and agrees with her. On the other hand, he grins, she's more beautiful than he remembers. Carly tries to sit up, only to wince in pain from a cut on her arm. When Jack asks what happened, Carly downplays the accident as merely having slipped on some ice in the road. She's a lot more interested in where he's been for the last two months. First, though, Jack wants to know more

Unfortunately, scheduling problems and lack of ideas has left me with no other choice but to end this fan fiction. It's a sad day for me, but this is a decision that I felt had to be made. I want to thank all the loyal readers (you know who you are) for following ANWT for this long. I also appreciate all the feedback that I've received, good and bad alike, during the course of this fan fiction. Lastly, I could have never have done this without the help of 2 amazing friends. Alison and Emily face off.
Jade comes down the next morning and informs Lily that she's moving back in over at Cal's old place. Stunned, Lily asks if Jade's ready to make such a huge step. Softening, Lily explains that she and Holden have been married on and off since they were young. No matter what the problem, she knows that at the

I'm writing this to you tonight from the couch. I'm staying the night at Will and Gwen's house again tonight. I have to get up early tomorrow and go to the Wagon Wheel. Maybe they'll let me have my old room back when I tell them that I have a job now and there will be no more interferences with my monthly payments.
I love this couch. It's not too soft, not too hard. Just the way I like it. I have a pillow covering up the stain on the couch from where I accidentally spilled some

And now, the finale of...
THE WORLD OF OAKDALE
NOTE: This episode is extra long, but well worth it. Enjoy.
Barbara, Will, and Gwen arrive to the party. Barbara is irked to even be coming (because of Dana), but knows Grant through a former business venture. Will questions Gwen as to why she's been so pissy, and Gwen chuckles that it must be the harmones or something. Will places his hand on her stomach. Whenever I read this theory I feel the need to squash this myth based on the excellent reporting by Alecia Swasy in her book Soap Opera:: The Inside Story of Proctor & Gamble. The P&G soap ratings had not changed significantly in years and most were still profitable at their cancellation.
However, civil lawsuits based on faulty product science began creating huge losses for the company. Fans tend to personalize the decision because of our devotion to the shows. Yet the truth is that toxic shock from faulty tampons were much more of a concern for P&G than the production of television.
We may think that the company is at fault for ignoring the wishes of fans, but what we should really be mad about is their willingness to foist productions on to the public when scientific testing was either ignored or subverted.
I don't doubt JFP had something to do with SJB's first departure, but since she returned later I always assumed it was something salvageable when cooler heads prevailed? But I have no idea. SJB seems to have had her struggles and she has had some of the worst roles on daytime soaps it's a shame. Was Sarah not available when TB left?
Anyway it's a bummer. Nothing about LW would scream Carly to me even though I know she was what the network always wanted after TB.
It does seem like Carson have a lot of stans online (none here I don't think lol), but so did JaSam and they broke them up. It really seemed like GH was onto something with this Mike/Nina/Jason/Sonny stuff and then they made the least soapy choice available.
Lots of single folks!
I'm in agreement on Mercedes and Sylver. They work for me and I don't really think they need to put the audience through investing in yet another 'good man' for her. He's it (unless the actor bolts then you know the dude is dead)
I liked Brody and the actor was good. It's a bit of a loss but I was feeling like one of Damon/Brody needed to go. Not that I dislike either. Just to free up a spot on the show (I just know the show and it felt like the writing was on the wall).
I know he's apparently popular (and I like that I can almost always say 'I like the actor so it's not their fault') but Warren's time feels up too. It just feels like it's time to let him go. There's still some stuff left but yeah ...
I have to say I was always suspicious of 'Rocky' from the start. It all seemed 'too good to be true' (and it was) with him. It's a nice twist I suppose. I like him so I hope they don't write him into a corner. So they will.
I just can't take beer belly Ben seriously. LOL. I miss the cuter Ben's with the glasses and personality.
This Ben is hard to invest in. The writing doesn't help. The actor is fine, I like him.
I'm liking seeing Julie and John. Sharing scenes together. I don't even remember the last time they interacted. The Cin scenes were painful. Johnny & Chanel were adorable as always. It was nice seeing Tony. So hoping the Devil possesses Tripp.
