You know, I never knew that existed! It does make part of my point, a short promo on the show for the online store would go along way to hawking that merchandise. I don't like the fact that it's mostly "Crimson lights" crap, and not Y&R. I see what DMAREX is saying about most of the show propping 5 or 6 characters. They've always done this character propping, just look at the blatant character propping of TEVN here:

It's just much more prevelant now, and things are falling trrough the cracks all over the place. Like... WHERE IS JOHN RUBINSTEIN?

The thing is, Alvin... is that he's being shipped off just as he got back on the horse again. It's been a couple dozen episodes, and what you saw today was very typical of what he gave in the 80's. It takes a little time to get back into it. Those two dozen episodes should have been spread over TWO MONTHS, not SIX. The fans would have warmed to him much sooner (Like they have been the last couple of weeks), especially if the writing was better, and he had emotional scenes with Jess and Jeanne, and LOTS OF THEM. I know many aren't fans of his... but you have to admit, there has been marked improvement. One thing I would like to point out. Thom CRIED today. Last week, Goddard had to cover his face because he COULDN'T. Yet he's still on the show EVERY. DAMN. DAY.

Of course, Barnaby Jones was a spinoff of Cannon, and they did several crossovers in the first few seasons. I always thought Cannon had the cooler opening credits (Eileen Davidson's hubby is in this one!):

Tomorrow has a couple of good lines and a storyline all about the skanky Phick Couch!! Plus, Sharon needs to go steal a bra!

Oh, Sharon can go without... it's no big deal. But I pray every NIGHT that someone in wardrobe will get Melody to wear an underwire. Almost every day she looks like she's ready to belly up to the milking machine.
