Well Branco just wrote on his facebook wall that Guza is doing is best work and how great GH is so ?
I don't know what's in his peace pipe but I don't watch ABC shows much with the demise of Evangeline I was part of her fanbase that walked with her. I haven't watched OLTL in three/four years or so.

As for her being the "be all for African American women." As an African American, I didn't interpret her that way at all. She was just one black woman who I thought was brought on for Gannon.

I think she suffered from the writing and some things could have been handled more interesting in the confines of bad writing. They brought on a little backstory for her when she was w/John (her relatives then Layla).

I see a common thread running throughout ABC soaps. I just think with Frons' orchestrations at the helm what can Headwriters do. I mean he has the final word as their boss so its basically his vision / direcion of the show that is aired. I did get with Carlivati that he likes and respects the genre which I don't get from Guza.

I bailed from OLTL but will catch clips from time to time and supported Tika


This is 2010 I don't want to watch a soap circa 1960 things have changed and their canvas should be diverse with the characters in top tier story. Gannon is a "core" family, Halls Grays...I don't see them bring on their offspring oh that's right they fired Rachel

so that core family is BS.

I get so tired of reading about "core families" when they don't write them in good story just to prop the younger crew...

what is the use of being attached every character that comes to town don't have to be attached to a core family they just came to town...it lies in the "writing not the attachment"

As for Burton he says whatever to pimp his product GH still hasn't recovered its been years the writing is male driven so I guess he would say that on screen everyday not making much sense in the same storyline since the 90's he hasn't had a need to "return" he's never changed.

...he's not setting ratings afire his Franco storyline flopped he keeps pimping this "returning back to what worked" and what was that? More hospital focused, more women driven storylines? More Quartermaine ELQ stories? When Laura return how did they write her?

Hell no just his mob sh..so return to what?? Rebuild what they have systematically spent years in destroying?
