BTG: June 2026 Discussion Thread
Silk Press Sheila would not dare to mess with Victor. He would see right through her. We know Victor would call her by her full name sounding like one word "Danalesliethomas".

Melrose Place
Dynasty and 90210 had backstage drama that rivaled what was onscreen, but Melrose kept the drama mostly onscreen. Whenever I've seen group interviews with Melrose cast members, they all seem to genuinely like each other.

Looking back...Primetime Ratings from the 80's
@soapfan770 Thanks for posting the final two weeks of 1988/89. It was not a very good season due to after effects of the writer's strike and changing times. So many shows felt off. May 8-14, 1989 had Family Ties series finale, The Golden Girls season 4 finale, The Cosby Show season 5 finale, and Moonlighting series finale. Rookie breakout Roseanne had their season 1 finale one week earlier. The other rookie hits Empty Nest and Anything but Love had their season finales in April. A Different World season 2 finale and Cheers season 7 finale were also one week earlier. This week's Murder, She Wrote was "Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall", part 1. This week's Knots Landing (The Heat of Passion) is notable in that it was Knots Landing's first weekly win over a new episode of Murder, She Wrote since March 7, 1985 (A Piece of the Pie). May 15-21, 1989 had Who's the Boss season 5 finale. 1988/89 Top 10 were 1. The Cosby Show, 2. Roseanne, 3. A Different World, 4. Cheers, 5. 60 Minutes, 6. The Golden Girls, 7. Who's the Boss; 8. Murder, She Wrote; 9. Empty Nest, 10. Anything but Love. 1988/89 Top 10 fallouts were 13. Growing Pains (1987/88 5th), 15. ALF (1987/88 10th), 21. Night Court (1987/88 7th), 22. The Wonder Years (1987/88 10th). 1988/89 Top 30 fallouts were Moonlighting final season (1987/88 12th), Family Ties final season (1987/88 17th), My Two Dads (1987/88 20th), Newhart (1987/88 25th), 227 (1987/88 27th), Day by Day final season (1987/88 28th).

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I think Christine might have gotten in a fight with Isabella but I think I could be wrong about that.

@YRfan23 Christine is too saintly to bitch slap anyone. AFAIK I don't think a Christine/Phyllis confrontation has ever turned physical.
