Thought we could have some fun speculating how we think GL is actually going to end in those final five minutes before the final fade out. And then because the end will probably not be quite what we want, I ask, then, how should it have ended?

So I was perusing the Netflix catalog and noticed that they had Dark Shadows so I put Collection 1 on my queue. So I got it a few days ago and it says that the collection begins at episode 210. Is this where the DVD collection begins or did they get it wrong? It even says Collection 1 on the disc.

MORGAN ENGLUND returns to Guiding Light. Morgan played Dylan on and off since 1995. He was last seen in Springfield 2006. Brian Gaskill previously played the role.

MELISSA HAYDEN returns to Guiding Light as Bridget. Look for Melissa to return this August.

MAUREEN GARRETT returns to Guiding Light as Holly. She's played this character on and off since 1976. Look for Holly to return August 26.

Before anyone gets angry, this is not a thread to argue about GL's future or possible lack thereof. There are several threads on this very board for that. In the end, regardless of whether or not GL will survive cancellation, the show's run on CBS will end September 18th. How should it end? Which characters should be featured? What should happen? Any returns? Reunions? Flashbacks? What do you think?

I thought we could use a thread as a tribute over the next several months (so if a mod could do me the favor and pin this thread). Linking videos, posting transcripts, memories. I don't think we should cloud this thread with talk of how bad it got and the misadventures that brought it to that point and focus on the pleasant memories and stories. I think GL in general deserves that much.
