Members juppiter Posted September 26, 2016 Members Share Posted September 26, 2016 Agreed. There was just a certain Y&Rness to Y&R before LML. The music, the pacing, the look. It was just head and shoulders above the other soaps, and the prevailing opinion at the time was that Y&R was number 1 in the ratings for a reason. LML made a point of killing the Y&Rness of Y&R and telling the press she was doing so, and once it was gone, it could never be brought back. And since then has often been among the worse soaps.
