Too bad Monday didn't count for the CBS Soaps. And too bad Days couldn't achieve those numbers during Sweeps. GH down over 800,000 viewers from the beginning of the week... whistling.jpg

Thank you Toups.

I love the low numbers….well deserved for an awful soap….an awful HW…and an awful actress….LOL….who thinks the sun rises and shines on her shitty acting and her costar Roger Howarth…LOL

Yep. Y&R didn't even include its highest day and is up 630K over last year - that's huge. B&B second highest day omitted and still up almost 400K. I'm not sure why everyone is all excited about DAYS - it is still down and that Thursday episodes was a bizarre anomaly - the show lost almost 570K in one day! I hope the new stories for the annual "The NEW plan to SAVES DAYS" works, but I don't have much hope. The five-month production schedule leaves no opportunity to kill bad stories or extend those that catch fire with viewers. They are truly guessing what viewers want and they have been very wrong for quite some time.

Do you just copy and paste the same thing every week into the new week's thread?? I swear to God, take the needle off the record!

Anyway, I'm disappointed by Y&R's ratings upswing. Bad, lazy writing is rewarded, meanwhile, DAYS spent 2013 and the early part of 2014 on fire storywise to little or no ratings benefit. I think the hacks have won. They've whittled the audience down to such an extent that barely anyone who values quality is left, and those who are are watching out of habit. I too am hopeful about the Plan to save DAYS Pt. 32, but unless the network does some big promos, including some primetime slots (Yeah, I know, keep dreaming), it'll have little-to-no effect :(

I guess Pratt and JFP work well together and complement each other, kind of like Cartini. Creative marriages made in heaven...or hell, depending on how you look at it. Can you see JFP trying to work with Kay Alden? Their styles are such polar opposites (shock and awe versus meaningful storytelling), I couldn't imagine them agreeing on much of anything.
