yes and it was actually quite good. B&B had a location shoot in Dubai for Bill and Brooke's wedding. Ridge crashed it and flew off with her in a helicopter, but unbeknowist to him, Justin, Bill's right hand man was flying and dropped Ridge in the middle of the ocean under Bill's orders. Ridge went missing for a few days but when he was found, he was "different". The fall caused some trauma which resulted in him being unable to draw again. His hands would shake and he couldnt translate the creative vision he had in his mind on paper. He kept this a secret bc of his pride and bc he didnt want to jeopardize his position at Forrester

Around the same time, Caroline, Rick's wife, who was the head designer for the Hope for the Future line, was dabbling in couture. Ridge found that he could work through her by guiding her hands convincing her that he was mentoring and helping her improve her skills.. Caroline eventually found out the extent of his injuries but didnt care and decided to keep it a secret as they mutually helped each other. She developed a crush on him and led her on a bit. Thirsty Thot Myrna, learned of a kiss between them and spilled it at a corporate meeting, which led to Rick dumping Caroline and having an affair with her. Ridge eventually regained his ability to draw but the effects of this are still playing out and its really the best storyline on soaps right now. Here are promos from it

Logan is an ass-kisser and very much about pushing some of the "legends," as it reminds him of when he was relevant. It's one of the reasons why he was always ride or die Guza. He's a great example of how out of touch much of this genre is.

I can imagine what the failed writer and failed actress Hinsey would have for a best list. I guess whoever comes to her bar.

I sometimes feel like people are either desperate for anything to praise on GH, or they get a memo from the PR department. This is barely even a storyline. Storms has only had one popular "cute" romance in her entire 15-year soap career - Shawn/Belle on DAYS. All of her popular stories on GH were when Maxie was a neurotic bitch. "Spixie" became a nonstarter with fans in record time, and then died a slow, painful death (complete with any gimmick possible to drag out the story and hide the fact that the show did not want to put them together and fans did not want to see them together) until Bradford Anderson finally went back to the pond.

Storms playing "cute" comes across as a middle-aged woman trying to be a high schooler. It's more sad than anything else.

It was tough for me to see the stuff with Coop as cute romcom because Maxie was so screwed up. That worked for her (as soon as Spinelli came around Maxie was ruined as a character because the show only wrote her through his glazed-over eyes), whereas the stuff with Cue Card Ken is so boring even the show barely cares.
