So this happened!!

So many feelings are happening to me with that cast list. I'm happily surprised to see Lara Flynn Boyle returning. There are a lot of the bigger names coming on board who I'm excited about, but it'll also be nice to see Bailey Chase as well. I've always been a fan of his.

She's not on the list. I am however informed the list may be missing a few special names (more than just the one I'm thinking of).

I was so excited, I read the part of the missing names as if they were shoo-ins. I should have known better because a part of remembered that Ontkean wasn't a part of it, but I waved it off. Still, impressive.

It's still a family affair - Lynch's son is on the list, as is Mark Frost's young son Travis (along with his father Warren, now in his 90s, who played Doc Hayward/Donna's father). Plus Trent Reznor and wife, and what may be Robert Forster's wife.

 

Wow - they even brought back Louie, the goofy female clerk at the Great Northern who was obsessed with M.T. Wentz (and, it must be said, one of relatively few performers of color on the original show).

I was happy to see Russ Tamblyn, but in this same field, I was kind of hoping for Amber, too. I've heard Jim Belushi can be good, but his awful sitcom has me quaking at his appearance. Hopefully his stint will be small.
