GH

A meteor strike hits Port Charles. Everyone dies. The very last shot is someone coming out of their car at night to look at the hole in the ground where the town used to be. The figure then stares up at the stars and as she walks away, its revealed to be a very blonde Kristen Alderson. The end.

LMAO!

I know I have pitched this before but...presuming, of course, there is a budget (not a ginormous budget -- not the kind needed to pull off another Port Charles Hotel fire, let's say -- but enough to achieve a minimal amount of stunts and such)...but what if Port Charles were hit by a hurricane that in turn unleashed another outbreak of Lassa Fever? And what if this outbreak were to wind up being immune to the cure that Dr. Steve Hardy had developed (and had almost died for) years ago?

Between the hurricane and the outbreak, you could, um, unload a lot of the dead weight that's been dragging down this show for awhile. (No need to name names. You know who I'm talking about.) You could even have a shocking death or two -- Luke, definitely; and Monica, which seems unthinkable but...oh, man, it's tough to say this...you might as well, since there just doesn't seem to be enough for poor Monica to do. (And, who knows, it might lead to some good stuff with Tracy and

fighting for control of the Quartmaine homestead...which in turn might beget even more good story.) But you could also pave the way for some GREAT new characters and fascinating returns, such as Jeremy Hewitt, now an adult, and now a doctor working with the World Health Organization, who assists in finding a new LF cure.

Y&R needs a tornado storyline. Pronto. That's something I'd love to see for May sweeps next year (May is prime twister month in the midwest too)

It needs to trap Phyllis and Sharon together right after one of them realizes that Sharon pushed Phyllis down the stairs. Then, they would have to work together to save each others lives. I'd love that!
