A realistic gay storyline not full of cheese and bulls*it. One where two men [or women] fall in love, or just lust without nonstop stereotypes*cough* *Felix*whistling.jpg, straight marriages [ wink wink nod nod Noah]ph34r.png, stupid pop culture referenceswhistling.jpg to 80s TV or terminal boredom [side eyes] I'm looking at you Will and Sonnywhistling.jpg

Soaps usually do "This was the past" when it comes to that storyline. Almost all the soaps have had characters who were abused as children.

What brings me to mind (as always) is One life to Live. They rewrote Viki Buchanan's history to say she was sexually abused as a child by her father (still don't buy it. Beleive it was a twin). and then she develpoped alters. One of the alters Niki Smith allegedly came out when Viki's daughter was four years old (around the time of Viki's stroke) and took the young girl to a bar where she got sexually abused by a stranger and the man recorded it. That was so sad seeing Viki and Clint sitting in the library watching the tape for the first time.

My pick would be a gay porn star. I beleive they've done straight porn...a little but never a gay porn star comming to town to shoot a movie or whatever.

I think that GL should have done that with the Spauldings when they decided to to Peapack. Also, didn't they own a lot of the businesses of the town or at least the places a lot of the characters worked at or whatever? At any rate, the episode that Peapack started could have been the episode the Spauldings started there new life as poor people.
