Someone elsewhere online actually said, the allegations were concocted (to paraphrase) because he would've been fired long ago. If he were suspended pending investigation, would they have to announce it? No! That person's rationalization makes no sense to me. He could have been working provided he not be on set at the same time as HK during the investigation. Someone else claimed that the allegations couldn't be true because he gave an interview to NB after he was fired. These people obviously never heard of what the PR people refer to as '...getting out in front of a story...' so you can put out your version first. The only problem is that this approach assumes that there won't ever be pushback from the other side. Well, that has happened. And so far MM is radio silent. At this point, even he knows that no good can come from him opening up his yap. These MM fanatics are ensuring that things will drag on through the mud. Reminds me of how Megyn Kelly couldn't sit still the night President Obama won his re-election. They're all over the place and spouting out the nuttiest things. Now that is is out, they are under no obligation to remain silent. All these people begging for him to come back should cease and desist. And all these folks, mostly women, not caring and still wanting him at Y&R should walk a mile in HHKs shoes. She deserves to have a safe and harassment free work place.
