And it would be the final and well deserved insult to Phyllis. Besides, if Phyllis comes back, she will be paired with Jack. Might as well give them a kid. Let those egomaniacs go and never be heard from again. Jack needs a hot woman who's not obsessed with someone else. As for Friday's show: Still gushing over Hillary! Love her! Thought it was funny that CK's Lily was calling someone skinny. Too funny! Hill is twice the woman Lily thinks she is. Lily can stay isolated with Cane while Hill makes her mark on the entire canvas! Lily is going to have a stroke once Devon falls for Hill! I can't wait! Jill continues to call Hill "the lovely assistant". That is so cute. Jill, you will be making certain no harm comes to Hill soon enough. Adam/Chels Puke! Gag! And all that. Kelly can just go! I see no need for her, but if she escorts BM off, so beit. I am indifferent to BM, but I don't like performers taking a show against its will. He can go! Hopefully, Bacteria are over before DT gets here. This show has not skipped a beat. That might have something to do with her being backburned for months before her departure. But it hasn't. And neither has it struggled in the ratings. Same for Billy Miller. 6 months from now, I doubt anyone cares he left. I wonder if CK have figured out yet that Lily is suffering in this pairing with Cane. I wonder if she looks at what is being done with Hilary and think that could have been her...only if She hadn't been so supportive of Lane fans rabidness. If maybe she had told them to be patient and let lily flex her wings. I can't wait for lily to find that one of her "favorite men" is keeping time with Hilary. She will be pissed. I have to admit that lily is much more entertaining in scenes with Hilary. And she will be shocked that Devon has gone against her wishes. She is so accustomed to all the men in her life being all about her. Not this time sweetheart. I read some comments saying that the writers don't know Devon, he would never go against lily or say anything against her. Well it's a new day! Same hair, same voice (kinda) and same underwritten character traits. Having said that, I do like how she is this uncertain, slightly awkward young girl just trying to figure stff out, and I really like Sharon mentoring her. I do think she has chem with JM but the scenes with the Abbotts have had more spark (the Newmans are a bore IMO), and she and PB have seemed to hit it off in their scenes together. I think it might have to do with him making his Newman rival in the making look like a pipsqueak...and just when I was warming up to him in the role. Also hoping that it might have something to do with summer truly being an abbot when the dust settles and they don't want him around to deal with "their feelings" for each other. The writers seem hesitant to even mention it now that Kyle supposedly has more story again. It seems as though he hasn't been able to finesse the relationship since then. He's not exactly the best actor so that may have added to the struggle. First off, Sharon Case as this guy's mother is a travesty! I don't buy it one damn bit. Then to have that moron as a business rival or any sort is insulting to the viewers. Put him in the damn mail room! If they are going to skip a generation and move on to the next Newman/Jabot Corporate battle, they need to do better. I'm just not sure how because these guys are too young to make it believable. It's like Amanda Cory coming from boarding school and being a Cory Publishing executive at 18! I'm still traumatized by that! It's time for Nick to go back into the business [with Jack if he can't work for his father] and Adam as well as Devon to duke it out in the boardroom. They have a lot invested in RA, who has gained in popularity (at least from what I've seen on some online comments) and contrast that with all the whining that happened when the role of Kyle was recasted with Sawyer. I always thought JM did very well with child actors but not so much with adults. I can see him having trouble figuring out how to play daddy to a grown up girl. A problem he wouldn't necessarily have with a grown up son because they can be "just buds". That doesn't work with a daughter. He should seek KSJs advice for how he plays it because Neil and lily's relationship is just doting enough not to be strange and folks buy their affection. They need to bring in other older more experienced business folks, like Neil, Victoria, Nick, and even Cane and have these younger guys working for/under them. When they gave Devon an internship, he worked under Neil and it was believable. The same way it was believable when Devon worked under cane at first at jabot. It made sense. Considering both their heights, one would think JFP would have thought of this. It's not like they will acknowledge their one time friendship now that Noah has Tyler. Its time for Victoria to get serious about it. I don't thing Devon is the corporate type. He like Noah are just too artsy like. That doesn't mean I want them to start singing again either though.
