I personally am not enthralled by the show anymoe - for a long time. But the audience does not agree apprently as the show is on a constant upswingthe last years. THis week however I think they benefited from Y&R's stabilizing ratings.

That or indeed people wanted Bill and Brooke to go caboom. LOL

Actually, the Spanky and Alfalfa war was highly featured on GH last week. The FrankenTodd reveal didn't take place until later in the week. By that time, minds were already made up. Funny thing is, about 200,000 checked back in Thursday only to not be interested enough to watch Friday's show. Craptini simply cannot keep the audience's attention!

But what I find most astonishing is that YR lost 700,000 viewers from Monday to Friday! Yikes!

This Y&R story is not the type that will sustain ratings over time, people are bound to get tired of the darkness. Especially since every storyline is dark. I'm happy that B&B remains an unsung hero of daytime. Brad Bell was majorly sucking for a few years there, but finally was able to fix the quality of his show and modernize it. He gets very little credit for this or press, but B&B is the one soap people should try to emulate. If I were at CBS, I'd tell the people at Y&R to go meet with Brad Bell and Ed Scott and learn as much as they can. I still don't understand how in this budget conscious time they are able to travel all over the world, do regular outdoor shoots, use Aspen as a regular location and they also know how to perfectly use modern music and montages without overdoing it. I don't understand how Ron Carlivati is the star of daytime and Brad Bell isn't.

I wonder how much higher the ratings would be for B&B if they got the level of attention the other soaps get.

Wow..these GH and DOOL ratings are a big disappointment since they're running climaxes to the biggest stories in years (Kristine's demise and Robin's return). B&B puts dollar bill on a ledge and the ratings spike. And Shelly Altman must be getting indigestion when she sees how many viewers tuned out on day 2 of her writing tenure.

So GH fell a little u guys act like it crashed just because u all hate Ron carlivati it's ridiculous. Some weeks some shows fall and the ratings are stellar. GHs reveal hasn't happened yet. Again all Ron thinks about you guys is keep talking about me the more you do the more I stay relevant birches. DAYS still did okay. Y and R is still solid viewership. Friday is always lowest day of week. It's so funny the biases on this board when Y and at R hit stellar ratings two weeks u all dismissed it and those ratings ate still fantastic great demo and Jill is still up from last year. Again she ain't going nowhere.

Wow at B&B! It's amazing how this resurgence has last for almost two years. It seemed to start around January of last year and every time you think the year-to-year gains are over, it just keeps building. Pretty amazing.

The ratings for DAYS "wedding" Day, (Thursday) were surprising low. It picked up on Friday, but I really though it would do better. :(
