OMG, Destiny actually wore pants today That stuff with Jack and that chick was weird. Wish her identity wasn't spoiled for me here This Michelle chick is not what I expected. Did not see Jack and his teacher coming like that. I'm a bit surprised they slept together right off the bat. I see their little affair continuing. Blair will have a fit. Dorian may be understanding. Not really impressed by Arturo Bandani. Matthew/Jeffrey scenes ran too long. Jeffrey was so damn annoying. Jeffrey should have respected Matthew's wishes about letting the Michelle thing drop. Instead he goes behind Matthew's back and forces the issue. When Michelle turns out to be batshit crazy I hope Matthew remembers to thank Jeffrey for his interference. I'm tired of Jeffrey acting as some all knowing sage when it comes to the gang. He's acting like Matthew so wronged when he was the dumbass he told Matthew to drive up to Toronto in the first place. Hopefully when this Michelle thing backfires Jeffrey learns to mind his own business. Shaun/Destiny was a let down. After waiting so long all I get is that drive by scene? I was hoping for a lot more than what I got. Destiny sounded weird. Matthew's changed? How? All I've seen him do is blow off her and Drew every chance he gets. Recently he told Bo/Nora to butt of his life when it comes to them essentially saying they need to accept he wants no part of his kid. If Matthew is having a change of heart then I need to see that. I'm tired of seeing various characters say Matthew's trying (Destiny, David) when what I see on screen contradicts that. Praise god I actually liked what Destiny wore today. When he's not in scenes with Drew or Destiny or Bo and Nora, I never see that he has any regrets or second thoughts about how he's handling this situation. It's completely out of sight, out of mind. Members Vee Posted June 25, 2013 Members Share Posted June 25, 2013 The Dani/Tea stuff was just great. Classic soap opera, family stuff at the kitchen table. I loved the whole dynamic of her just not wanting to be in her apartment with her Matthew dilemma, being tempted towards home, and how they let all that play out in a character way, not utterly plot-driven. I also hope they keep tugging Dani, etc. towards the tattoo storyline with the Briana/Bandini connection, drawing the disparate characters in. I was worried they were going to have a massive continuity error when Blair said he was at the club with Briana, but was relieved when I saw the preview with Rama confirming Bandini wasn't the same man. Paolo Seganti looks so creepy these days but he's playing the role well, and it's obvious he is meant to be some kind of antagonist. So I'm all for it. Kate creeped me out, and not because she didn't have a dick. The actress was just off to me, though that could change when she has actual lines. Since he's legal now I will say I was pleased they got AT in on the action, and if we're being very, very frank they might as well play up his body the way they've been doing with Rob Wilson and Eric Nelsen on AMC. Of course Jack would hit it with a hot older woman, so that doesn't bother me. And hey, who knows, maybe Jack can eventually swing both ways - unlike poor Dr. Joe on AMC. Amber Noyes seems decent. I just hope Michelle has an actual point. I did think it was an odd mistake to give her the surname McCall. I wonder how long they can keep the keepaway game going with Victor/TSJ. It can't hit that Grant Aleksander/GL area where everything was about Philip lurking around the town while GA refused to come back. I assume they have him locked down sooner or later. Forgot to mention the Shaun/Destiny scene. Clearly slotted in from another episode, but it worked - they had a good interplay. Not a beat missed, IMO. I'd love to be excited by watching the shows if people weren't freely discussing spoilers weeks ahead of time. I didn't want to already know this woman was Jack's teacher, but you guys have polluted EVERY episode thread freely talking about it without spoiler tags. Especially with Mathew/Nora/Bo (though they didn't have any scenes together today) because they remind me of me and my family!! I am also partial to Dani/Tea. I like how they are treating this story with Dani and the drugs as both a PSA storyline and an Action storyline. I thought they already revealed who Kate was and I missed it so I was a little confused. Loved that we finally got some Dani/Tea time.Like everyone said they play really well off each other. Made total sense that she would go home too- nice job writers. Thought Jeffrey should have left the Michelle thing alone when Matthew for once was being sensible about something. But I guess that's the investigative reporter in him. And I like the friend dynamic between Matthew & Jeffrey, which I wasn't totally sold on earlier. Excited to see what Michelle has to say. Shaun & Destiny were cute and sold the sibling thing more than adequately. I get why she said Matthew is getting better- he's given her the tiniest of morsels to make her think that (as opposed to week 1-2 when he was pretty much hostile about the whole thing) and she's grabbing on to that. I think Destiny and especially Bo & Nora are still cutting him a ton of slack because of the coma- wish someone would mention it. Not sure what to make of the new mystery man- I don't have history with him from other soaps- so I'll just give him a few more eps before saying anything. Kind of over the hunt for Victor/tattoo mystery. Just give me some TnB scenes and I'm content. Didn't love the Jack/Kate thing- doesn't mean I'm not excited for the story but the whole leaving with his laptop scene was too bizarre. It felt like she was waiting for him at the coffee shop so maybe she's somehow tied to the people behind Todd's hit list. AT was pretty though in that last scene. Ugh they're going to get tons of complaints about this aren't they- looked at the OLTL FB for a minute- saw the words "kiddie porn" and "statutory rape" and immediately ex-ed out.
