Members JAS0N47
Congratulations to stunt coordinator Terry James and the "Days" sound mixing team (re-recording mixer Zoli Osaze, production mixer Roger Cortes, and boom operators Jacqueline Frazier, Hector Sarabia and Harry Young) on winning Daytime Emmys at tonight's Creative Arts ceremony!! "Days" has now received a total of 34 Daytime Emmys in its 48 years on the air. Terry James (who also won for stunt coordination last year) becomes just the 19th person to win multiple Emmy Awards for "Days." This is the first time "Days" has won the sound mixing award since 1974. The five members of the sound mixing team each won their first Emmys for "Days" tonight. It is a bittersweet win for the sound mixing team, since the three long-time boom operators (Jackie Frazier, Hector Sarabia and Harry Young) were replaced in January due to changes made at NBC Burbank. "Days" still has six nominees vying for awards at Sunday night's televised Daytime Emmys ceremony. Be sure to watch HLN from 8-10PM ET and see if "Days" wins for best drama series, best directing team, and find out if lead actress Peggy McCay (Caroline), supporting actress Arianne Zucker (Nicole), and younger actors Chandler Massey (Will) and Freddie Smith (Sonny) take home the Emmy. Again, congratulations to our two sets of winners tonight!!
