Y&R: Jeanne Cooper has passed away

I am looking forward to this as well, but it's going to be tough watching all those people up there talk about Jeanne when there probably will be lots of tears and what not...

I'm glad they are giving Katherine a memorial service....sounds like it won't be on air till Late July/early August....

I just wish they would invite Kay Alden back to help right the memorial episode and also include the classic background music which is necessary for a time like this.

It's probably the only classic cue they will use.

But I'm really impressed by this decision: its a more than welcome surprise to that they do an entire tribute episode. On Memorial day no less which Y&R has often used for storyline purposes. Thumbs up! This is gonna be heartbreaking. John McCook and Doug Davidson knew Jeanne the longest (on-set), so this is gonna be interesting...
