before anyone says "we have this thread or that thread" this is different. I thought it would be nice to have a thread to post anything related to the upcoming anniversary that's not spoilerish. Toups or Errol can this be pinned

Here's some GH memories

Ummm I just went to Wal-Mart to buy a Magnavox DVD recorder thinking i could record all 50 hours to DVD from SOAPNet.

But you can't.  The box says, "No DVD Recording from cable"  Ouch!

Girl, I don't have a DVR and have no interest in that.

I bought a DVD recorder so I could burn my 50 hours to DVD.  But you can't do that.

I had a Magnavox DVD Recorder and it recorded from cable just fine. Are you sure you don't have it set to Antenna?

For those (like me) who are technologically challenged, how can one burn one's cable DVR recordings onto a blank DVD?  I'd love to clear some space, but I can't bear to delete the classic AMC/GH/OLTL marathon episodes.

Thanks in advance.
