I think the American Daytime Serial ended with passions because no soap has been produced since. I don't even think the 70s is when they hit there "Peak" like some say. As for ABC and Bell soaps, I consider the Golden Age to be the 70's before the addition of "Nouveau Riche" tycoons (Victor Newman, Adam Chandler, Asa Buchanan, The Quartermaines). The Silver Age to be much of the 80's with the adventure stories and such. Bronze Age to be the "Social Issues Age" of the early to mid 90's...lasting till about '97, when we started getting the dreck we have now. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
