She rips apart DOOL and for good reason.  She reminds us how they've destroyed Will's character and continue to build the show around Sami and Rafe instead of Sami/Ej and Daniel/Jenn, instead of getting rid of Dr. Walking Std.

Will was a fascinatingly grey character played by an Emmy winning actor. He caught his mother, Sami, cheating with her ex, E.J., and opted to blackmail E.J. Then, when E.J. turned the tables on him, revealing that he knew Will shot him years ago and let his father take the rap, a fascinating game of cat and mouse ensued.

The "fascinating game of cat and mouse" amounted to EJ making lame Carry On-style innuendo as Will smirked and made cow eyes. This was their only scene, repeated for months on end. There was no "grey." The show made it clear that Will adored EJ and that anyone who adored EJ was right and good. Will was written as a little darling.

If the only reason you care about a character is because you're waiting for him to [!@#$%^&*] the show's leading man, then you're out of luck. DAYS traded in any characterization or storytelling of Will for cheap queerbaiting, and got nothing out of it other than a ratings drop.

Fortunately, the show’s new headwriter realized that her character needed to be restored, and crafted the only plausible explanation for her bizarre behavior: she was mentally ill.

Sharon hasn't been restored. She's still all about dick. And saying that mental illness is a plausible reason for years of ridiculous behavior is a big reach. Bibel apparently forgot that MAB repeatedly trotted out the "mental illness" story to justify everything from Sharon having sex with three different men at the same time (two of them married, one of them her husband's brother), to having sex with a man for no other reason than his dog died.

Most Ruined Character Will “Days of Our Lives”

Will was a fascinatingly grey character played by an Emmy winning actor. He caught his mother, Sami, cheating with her ex, E.J., and opted to blackmail E.J. Then, when E.J. turned the tables on him, revealing that he knew Will shot him years ago and let his father take the rap, a fascinating game of cat and mouse ensued. Will was attracted to the DiMeras wealth and power, though he was at heart a Brady. He truly was his mother’s son. He also happened to be gay and in the closet, but that was just one aspect of his character, not his entire identity. Unfortunately, once Will came to terms with his sexual orientation, he lost his moral ambiguity. He cut all ties with E.J. He is now a bland good guy in a cliched paternity storyline. What a waste.

Actually Will has been a ruined character from the beginning. All the blackmailing should have led to him sleeping with EJ....

Best Couple – Michael & Lauren “The Young & the Restless”

Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) on “The Young & the Restless are proof that it is possible to craft storylines for characters that are happily married. Not all of the stories have been good, but on a show where people meet, get married and divorce within the span of six months, it’s nice to see two people who have been married for years, respect each other, are still attracted attracted to each other, and are committed to handling life’s challenges together. Whether they are dealing with an interminable legal case, an evil lookalike (sigh), a brother who is robbing banks while disguised as a chipmunk (double sigh), a bad seed son, or just trying to find time for a romantic evening, they are always entertaining. I hope they stay together long enough to celebrate their silver anniversary.

I've never bought Mr. Queen and Mrs. Diva Lauren together...and their son..what a weirdo gay son he is...lol

Adding several OLTL characters to the cast was a risky move that worked, with each of the three who became series regulars interacting primarily with GH characters, not each other.

What else would they do? Have scenes only with each other? What an odd reason to praise this "risky move." It feels like grasping at straws.

Instead, DOOL veered away from exploring the explosive chemistry, and has Sami once again waffling between Sami and Rafe without writing an actual story that would give either potential pairing its due.

If DAYS really was writing selfcest then they might get some of that Reilly audience back.

Aw..the EJ flirting and Will making goo goo eyes at him...should have led to [!@#$%^&*]..sorry Carl...lol....might as well since thats all they did in 2012. I guess Sonny's paper on a wish came true and thats why Ej and Will didnt [!@#$%^&*] during 2012...lol

I mean really how hard would have been to make EJ bisexual and have him say he used Will....ha

EJ was their prize stud. Him being anything other than 100% straight was mostly down to a few stale innuendos they tossed out to justify flushing the actual gay storyline down the toilet. And as a result of flushing the story, the only time viewers gave a crap about Will was when he got to star in their porn fantasy.

Bibel is basically saying she's upset because DAYS didn't devote enough time to the dumbass twink and EJ's rape victim mooning over him. But DAYS did a ton of this in 2012, even having said dumbass twink going around shouting that EJ was his true father (after saying Rafe was his true father - maybe he was grading on pectorals) and they got very little out of it in return, other than lousy ratings and the usual fan wars that EJ has been immersed in since somewhere around 2006. I guess you could say that was better than the crap EJ has now, but it's not as if the show didn't try.

IA. Something should have happened with Will and EJ, even if it was only just a kiss. That would have been just the scandalous, juicy storyline that Days could have used to give it a shot in the arm.

Exactly! Imagine Sami saying..."You seduced my son and slept with him??'"or kissed him....and would have really gotten to Sonny instead of the pregnancy nonsense.

Would've preferred Sami walking in on them kissing, having sex, whatever and her being so shocked she had a fatal heart attack. :)

With MarDar's writing, Sami and Will would have just traded off days.
