The threat of cancellation has really helped some of these shows get their acts together and tell stories that will have fans tuning in. They've also learned that diversity is key to success. I'm sure plenty of people have stopped watching altogether, but others couldn't drop the habit and set their focuses on what's left. It sure didn't benefit them around the time when they were trying to turn DAYS into Passions. Brady's just a non factor and a little bit of a different case because he came on playing a recast of a character. Ah so we should just ignore that the writing is no better than last year.
