Members DRW50 Posted January 16, 2012 Members Share Posted January 16, 2012 Dull Golden Globes...I don't buy that it's because Gervais was toned down, because I don't remember him being all that funny last year either, unless jokes about what Robert Downey Jr. did in 1997 is hilarious. Madonna was probably the highlight. Elton John looked miserable most of the night. Kenneth Branagh looks very good. Most of the actresses seemed so downbeat and drab, and most of the outfits were also quite dull. SMG's outfit was like a living version of that Knots Landing watercolor opening, but at least it was lively. Did anyone else think it was kind of bad timing Morgan Freeman got this achievement award a week after he got the same from the People's Choice?
