Any good dish about behind the cameras feuds? Wisner Washam said in his WLS interview that he couldn't stand Megan McTavish and that the feeling was apparently mutual. I've heard that there was conflict between Pam Long and JFP during Long's second run at HW, and I think Claire Labine has said some not-so-complimentary things about Paul Rauch when she was at GL.

^^That's what I thought. Someone linked an interview on here and the interviewer asked him about his breakup with GT and he took a looong pause and said something to the effect that Gina had made some comments about the situation but he'd rather not get into it.

I think the Zimmer/Watros "feud" was something blown out of proportion. The story I heard was that it was an early rehearsal morning and Zimmer and company were tired whereas Watros was all bubbly and energetic, and Zimmer made a remark like, "Do you have to be so *happy* in the morning?" And Watros cried to some make-up or crew people. And then they said to Zimmer, "You made Cynthia cry, you bitch," and Zimmer felt awful about being the old haggard diva snapping at the young pup.

Within a couple months after Watros left GL in early 1998, her and Zimmer hung out together in L.A. when Zimmer was in town for the Soap Opera Awards. Doesn't sound like sour grapes to me.

Never understood the comments about DAYS' Deidre Hall versus Crystal Chappell either. The reasoning being that Deidre's return to the show meant shoving out Chappell, who received much airtime. But it doesn't compute, because Chappell joined the show in the summer of 1990; Deidre re-joined in summer 1991. Chappell stayed on DAYS til summer 1993. So for literally 2/3rds of Chappell's original run on DAYS, Deidre was on the show too. But rumors also said Deidre had Matt Ashford fired in 1993, too, so who knows why rumors get started. I thought the only power Deidre had in the early 90's was getting Drake Hogestyn's dressing room, the only dressing room with a shower.

As for Paul Rauch / Maeve Kinkead... I don't think it's any wonder that in the late 90's, which Rauch in charge, there were *constant* digs regarding Vanessa's age and looks.

Heres one from Y&R that i would like to know but do Melody Thomas Scott and Tracey Bregman get along in real life. I ask because i can't help but notice some awkwardness between them whenever they have a rare scene together, and also i read in an old SOD magazine from 1990 that apparently when Tracey started going out with her husband (well ex-husband now i guess) she took him along to a soap awards dinner, and they were sitting with Melody and Ed Scott, and supposedly when Tracey introduced her ex-husband to them and said his full name (Ron Recht) Ed Scott made a wise crack comment saying "Recht.... yeah that is what he is going to be once you are through with him..." (cause the last name sounds like wrecked) and she went on to say that it was just a bad start as far as dating him was concerned. I know that was mostly Ed Scott's rudeness or whatever you want to call it, but i have wondered about Melody and Tracey because for all we know she could have been upset at Tracey for saying that about her husband in the magazine....

Not so much a feud, but definitely some hostility when Ellen Wheeler, upon becoming EP at GL fired veteran director Bruce Barry as a part of the cost cutting mandated by P&G. Seems Mr Barry wasn't impressed that his long service and loyalty were not appreciated, nor was he pleased with the way the dismissal was handled.

Apparently,he placed a memo in everyone's mailbox at the studio outlining his displeasure and these were removed.

Similarly, when Beth Ehlers left for AMC,a security guard was assigned to her when she returned to the studio to collect her stuff and she was escorted out...
