Noelle Beck is a good actress but seemed utterly uncomfortable and plasticine in the role, too prim and distanced. It was like Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Joseph Bottoms, James Hyde, and Ramy Zada were all considered for the emergency temp recast of Brad Snyder before Roy Eudon got the role. Rachel Miner auditioned for AMC's bad girl, Risa.
