She has excellent, thick, trouble free skin...but damn is that jawline still taught or what? She has aged, but beautifully. Certainly, she's had some Botox in her forehead and I'm willing to bet a chemical peel here and there. Damn does she look good. Ha Ha. Well then I hate to break it to you, but you must hate everyone you see on television or on the screen because they've all had something done and most of them look fabulous. I am kind of pro stuff like lasers (Pearl skin rejuvenation, texture and pigmentation, sun damage removal; IPL can, for example, reduce pore size, treat scars, diminish wrinkles [i don't know in what amount]; there is Pulsed Dye, which removes birthmarks, treats acne and stretchmarks; YAG reduces spider veins; then there's TITAN... They can also remove excessive body hair, tattoos...) but very much against any cutting, injecting, implanting... Anything invasive. I know. I guess any discussion of plastic surgery must inevitably turn to Jackie Zeman and Leslie Charleson from GH. What did they do to themselves to look so bad? Smoking shrinks capillaries which slows healing and can cause complications during surgery. I remember catching an episode of Dr. 90210 where he told one of his patients that she'd have to quit a couple of weeks before he operated on her. Well, she didn't, and as she was coming out of anesthesia she was wheezing like a furnace and damn near coughed up a lung. He reprimanded her. And in general, it can make the skin look dull and papery. This is pure speculation on my part, but when I saw pictures of Donna Karan (who incidentally was in a ltr with her plastic surgeon, Dr. Baker) my first thought was that she must be a smoker. It's just sonthing about the way her skin draped on her face after surgery. Again, pure speculation, but just a gut reaction, like she was surgically rejuvinated yet she still looked weathered. I've read interviews where the interviewer mentions her lighting up, and with a voice like that... I'd also guess that Jeanne Cooper quit smoking years ago, her voice healed a la Bea Arthur's.
