Also I am shocked that Days could not get into the number 2 slot in any of the demos

With the full court press GH has been getting the past month, in ads and the press?

I'm just surprised GH didn't have more of an increase.

Y&R is in a holding pattern. Usually people hang on for a while and then they suddenly drop off.

GH's 18 to 49 women demo has steadily increased since November sweeps began so the ABC must be happy. There are only so many viewers to draw from even with tons of promotion. GH is doing the best that it can with all the attention. Now GH have to do what it has never been able to do which is hold on to the viewers who came in with the sweeps.

If it weren't for the Fort Hood memorial preemption on Tuesday (clear impact -- all soaps went down on Tuesday), ATWT's total viewers might have gone up this week too, though still probably last place among soaps for the week.

ATWT ratings are holding steady and I have faith they are gonna go up! For the most part, I'm loving what the show is doing right now. Very happy that renewal is being rumored.

Sigh...the problem with ATWT ratings is this........ several story lines began with great promise and now have become flat. Brad's death and Katie and Jack's reaction to it were powerful acting, and then Brad became a silly ghost which ruined the story. Jack's journey of self-discovery became more about meeting old ATWT fan favorites. Jack has lost all the emotion he had when Brad passed away. Goutman and Co. never deliver when it comes to sweeps months or remotes for that matter. The writers and EP can't put one story together without part of it falling apart. Let's hope the rumors of ATWT being renewed are true because November sweeps for ATWT so far have been a dud!

Btw..the beginning of Jack's journey was just awful with Ben Franklin...ugh....talk about a fall start.

I've had some mixed reactions to the sweeps stories, what I've seen. I don't really care about most of the younger characters, which sucks, because they make up a big portion of the show. I think Brad as a ghost is OK, it's just a little too overplayed, and there's too much LOUD ACTING in the scenes with Brad and Henry.

I like the visits Jack has with old faces, and I think they work. I didn't think the Ben Franklin thing worked, the idea was OK but, not to be cruel, but the guy was very hard to look at and I would fast forward when he had too many closeups. I wish they had gone a different way if they had to do the suicide attempt scenes.

I think it is practically impossible for ATWT to delivery any emotional performance that viewers will care about if the story-lines are so unrealistic and unbelievable. Let's look back at the last couple weeks - someone saves a Ben Franklin impersonator from committing suicide from a tall building in downtown Philadelphia, wins a nascar race (even though he is not a race car driver), finds an art dealer by randomly showing up at a museum in Pittsburgh and is able to talk the museum into letting him take a look at their 'database'. What a crock!?! Another character shows up with a potion that can promise a fountain of youth. Another character goes blind after a fireworks accident (knowing the show, how long will that last - 3 episodes???) There was a noticeable improvement in their writing about 2 months ago - I assume this was when the new co-writer came on board - but now we are back where we started from - rock bottom.

So what will be next for ATWT - a TEENAGE VAMPIRE STORYLINE?? I wouldn't be surprised. We are at the point where there probably is a good chance that any new character might in fact be a werewolf.

I thought i was watching the cartoon network. Carly's 1 minute flight from the midwest to Philly. I did not know she owns a time machine.
We can love some fantasy here and there but this is really cartoon stuff.
