Almost none of the soaps, except DAYS sometimes, play emotional beats now. I think OLTL does play them in some stories, when the personalities are consistent, but often the wrong stories end too fast and the wrong ones go on too long. Also true for too many soaps. Others are lucky to have more ground to lose.

I agree!!!

I'm just curious as to what bump Franco will give GH and will it maintain after he's gone
I really can't wait for this one though I'm such a fan of his. I also wonder
how Marsha Thompson will play out Guza doesn't really write Black characters well (when he does we are
very sterotypical) I still think Franco in the hands of this writer is the scariest of all about this event...

Were there pre-emptions on Friday? CBS and DAYS crashed on Friday.

Wasn't that the Yankees Ticker-Tape parade? I know the Northeast didn't get CBS soaps that day. They aired at, like, 2:37 AM.

Being like what? It's a reality. The truth is only what I am speaking. I watched the cancellations of PC, AW, SB, Passions and GL. All the signs are there!!! Look at their numbers?

So because I am stating the obvious, OLTL and ATWT will be done in less than two years, I dont care? I am jobless as is my mother. It's hard times out here. Of course I care.

Ask Brian Frons if he cares! he's the one who is ruining OLTL over at ABC. Can't speak for ATWT

Don't make an ass out of yourself by making assumptions about me. Your new here, fall back, pump your brakes

I was just playing with you damn. I am not new here I've been here alot, I had to keep making new accounts cause this site kept having errors when I put my password in and I emailed them about it, but I haven't got a reply back.

I think people are overestimating James Franco's appeal. I don't see this being talked about in the mainstream media whatsoever.

Its being talked about (I think it may be a tad more once he airs and his story starts playing out) here are a few we've found there are more but what I've noticed is that the places that it is (I've read)

many responders don't really know the actors of General Hospital (their names) or they don't really watch the show...many are saying what is General Hospital and are more aware of his upcoming appearing on 30-Rock.

Most of the articles (I've read) the focus is basically on Franco and his project he's working on now
and minimal mention about GH actors they have the KM still appearing in that promo (video) before it starts running which is being posted everywhere just more of Frons not-so-subtle marketing of his favorite Port Chuck refugee
which I fully expected whom he never misses an opportunity to showcase.

Also last week's ratings for Y/R Monday is identical to the one the year in 2008 I meant to post it in the other thread but I waited too late and it was on lock down.

Ratings for the week
October 27-31, 2008 / Y&R - Monday: 3.5/4,924,000
October 26-30, 2009 / Y&R - Monday: 3.6/4,924,000

Wow
