(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — “All My Children” stars Susan Lucci and Cameron Mathison take on new roles.

Two of daytime’s biggest stars and former “Dancing with the Stars” contestants, Susan Lucci, who plays “All My Children’s” legendary Erica Kane, and Cameron Mathison, who plays “AMC’s” hunky Ryan Lavery, are taking on new roles.

Coinciding with the move of “AMC’s” production from New York City to Los Angeles, Susan Lucci has been tapped to be the Grand Marshal of The Hollywood Christmas Parade. The  Hollywood Christmas Parade has been a tradition, off and on, since 1928. Lucci will be the first daytime drama star to ever serve as grand marshal of the event. Former grand marshals of the parade include Bob Hope, Natalie Wood, Charleton Heston, Michael Landon, and Bob Barker to name just a few. Like most parades, this parade hosts a line-up of marching bands, color guards, drum lines and most identifiably television and movie stars sitting on the back of an open convertible that rides through the route of the parade.
