(SoapOperaNetwork.com) – Donovan Patton, host of the highly successful Nickelodeon children’s program “Blue’s Clues,” is scheduled to make an appearance on “One Life to Live.”

In 2002, Patton took the place of the show’s original star Steve Burns, where he remained until the program was cancelled in 2006. The son of an Air Force officer, the 31-year-old actor was born on a military base in the U.S. territory of Guam. Patton is also a writer and has appeared in stage productions of “Romeo and Juliet” and “Much Ado About Nothing.”


It remains to be seen if Patton will appear on “OLTL” as himself, his “Blue’s Clues” persona Joe, or as an unrelated new character. A spokesperson for the soap will only confirm that the actor will be making an guest appearance in an upcoming episode.

No airdate has been announced, although according to a tweet by Kristen Alderson (Starr), the actor taped his scenes today (October 15th), “Joe from ‘Blue’s Clues’ is working on set with us today! haha awesome! I`m kinda star struck.”
