(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Laura Koffman, now going by her maiden name Bonarrigo, is returning to ABC’s “One Life to Live” in the coming months as Cassie Carpenter returns to Llanview for a visit.

Soap Opera Network has learned that Bonarrigo was seen on the set of the soap last week filming two episodes that will air sometime this fall. Her return is hot on the heals of the news that Robert Krimmer is reprising his role as Rev. Andrew Carpenter, Cassie’s ex-husband, also this fall along with Gina Tognoni who will reprise her role as Cassie’s cousin Kelly Cramer. Will the two be crossing paths? Tune in to find out!

From 2008-2009, Bonarrigo appeared in a number of episodes of “All My Children” as Rebecca Fowler, mother of Natalia Hubbard (Shannon Kane) and lover of Jessie Hubbard (Darnell Williams), Natalia’s father. She played the role of “Angie” in the 2009 short “Concerto” starring actor David Zayas (”Oz,” “Dexter,” “All My Children”).

I agree....I suppose that would mean that he would have to move to Savannah then. Because technically Andrew still lives in Llanview. And having Cassie move back to town but never been seen would be funny.

It reminds me of Miles Laurence, whom still resides in Llanview as well, even though David Chisum is look gone from "OLTL." Plus, don't forget that Larry is still here too. ha ha

Not a big fan of Cassie, but it will be nice to see Laura again, and for more recent viewers to be reminded of Dorian's family. Now we just need a Melinda return for a little while, and more Addie.

There's so much they could do with Cassie. She was Mitch's original (attempted) rape victim and could hold the key to some of the babyswapping since she was the first to infiltrate and investigate the Cult. With Andrew and Cassie popping up, they could also pave the way for a River return as a spoiler for Oliver/Kyle/Nick.

ABC is responding to rumors that Laura Bonarrigo is returning to One Life to Live.

According to SOAPnet:

We have the official answer -- Cassie is NOT returning to the show at this time. Of course this doesn't rule out the future ... the way things go down at La Boulaie, there's always reason for a visit!

Now I am wondering should I start trusting the SON Boards !
