I think after Dinah took over the Spaulding Mansion that Alan moved into the boarding house. Stupidly, the show burned down the diner. I love that set and I think the show gave the Cooper's Company since all the Reardon's were off the canvas by that time. Didn't Pam Long created the Cooper's as a replacement for the Reardon's? We rarely saw it, as opposed to The Beacon's ONE suite, but it was still referred to.
