I keep getting the error I've pasted below 95% of the time when trying to reach the main page of the forum, it happens when I use IE 7 and Firefox.

I had been getting errors too.

Some threads would knock me off line altogether.

I upgraded from IE7 to IE8.
Now(knock on wood) I am not having any problems with SON.

I use Yahoo as my homepage and I got the link for IE8 at the top of the page.
My system is Windows XP.

After some investigating, it appears that error message is a PHP issue from our server. The allotment is being exceeded. We are looking into expanding the allotment.

It's working for me too.

I wasn't looking forward to the thought of having to install IE 8 again, tried it and it seemed to freeze for me at times when IE 7 doesn't.

So far so good, hopefully no more errors. The main page does still load slow for me though

Oh and I'm still have trouble with threads. I have it set to view them in "standard" mode, but it keeps showing them in linear

Grrrr

This isn't really an error but...

Can we get rid of the big ass soap logos at the top of every page?

Still having trouble with threads and "standard" view. Any ideas how to fix it?

I'm having problems on pages where clips are embedded. They don't load all the way, only up to the post with the clip embedded.

I am having the same problem with the clip pages. If there is one on a page I can't go past that post.

The Phillip/Cane thread in the Spoilers where rhythmnyc just posted one just goes as far as the post with the clip. I can't get past it at all.

Until I can get to screw with the board the way I want to, they have to remain. Realistically, they are only there due to that Medium Box ad on the top right hand side. That ad covers a lot of much needed costs and once we upgraded and we stopped having that ad placement on the boards, our revenue hit the floor. I had to come out of pocket last month just to pay for the hosting and utilities for the server because of it.

The loading of some pages that you all are talking about will probably be fixed in the next version of the board. The software providers will be releasing a patch to any issues found since our recent upgrade very soon. Just hold tight. This doesn't mean all issues will be corrected, but the majority should be.

I fixed the thread problem I was having-for now. I had to go in and change to "linear" view, then go back in and change it back to "standard" view before standard view would take.

What a pain in the arse

I am not able to look at posts let's say that I posted on the 1st but can see the 2nd page. It give an message and bumps me off the board.

The topic is 'your earliest memories of soaps'.

I cannot look at the first page? I don't understand, I posted on that 1st page?

I've been having similar problems. Last week, can't remember the thread, but it was only page 3 that I got an error message for. Just now, it's the Unpopular Opinions Thread, and the OLTL Addie/Blair/Dorian clip thread.

If I click on the last poster's name, I can read their post on their personal page, but it won't let me see the entire thread.

For me it's both the Unpopular opinions thread and Y&R's potpuri thread.
