Obamafan at SOC said he knows a person that works at Y&R sent him a message on twitter that the big news is that Dru is being recast with someone that looks like Victoria Rowell.

I dont know whether to believe him do you think it is true? how will they explain Dru coming back from the dead?

LOL!, OMG, that wouldn't shock me either. Since they like giving Neil crappy storylines and the show loves going in ridiculous directions these days, a storyline about a Dru look-alike that stalks Neil or something shouldn't be ruled out.

I was thinking more new woman in town. Shes a minority character, so she has to be for Niel, and she happens to look like DRU! And maybe she has flashes of dru's life/memorys/amnesia

This is easier. They don't have to make the canvas more racially diverse (which has never been a big theme at Rauch's shows), and they can just say they're clinging to the old dried out husk of the Winters family out of respect for history.

The full impact of a Dru return could only be achieved with Rowell in the role. Otherwise it's pointless. They're so bad at bringing on new black characters or writing for existing ones so I'm sure this'll be a hugely offensive flop.

Dru's return is about the only thing that will bring me back to this freak show and I sho ain't coming back for some wannabe. LOL! Don't get me wrong. I'm talking about the one and only DruVickyRowellcilla Barber Winters returning. But I know that's not in the cards unfortunately. I'm not returning for any recast, PERIOD! And with Paul Rauch at the helm, he seems to have his type ... I believe he was at GL when they brought Vicky Spaulding on and the David Grant recast. I'm just saying. I don't care about Neil, I don't like FauxLily, and I've seen Eva try to "act" on Tyler Perry's House of Payne ... I think I'll pass.
