Are we getting these tomorrow or Friday? Hopefully tomorrow but more than likely we'll all have to wait it out until Friday.

If AMC doesn't go up, I'll be speechless. Probably for the first time in my whole life. I really hope more people tuned in last week, it was so nice to see Jessie, Angie, Greg, Tad, and Dixie again, even if Dixie's technically dead.

Last week was great for many of the soaps. I hope they all go up...especially AMC and OLTL.

I was VERY much impressed with AMC and OLTL last week. GL? Not so much as usual. DAYS was okay. I hope Y&R will get a little rise in the ratings next week as Nick's memory returns. I've watched a couple of clips of it and the actors delivered. GH? That's a tough one because I don't watch it. However, I do watch clips. The only thing that I do like about GH are the Spinelli and Maxie scenes. And that's about it.

I figured ratings would be a day late due to Memorial Day. AMC should go up with the Jesse/Angie wedding

One can only hope. But my fear is that the downward momentum is too strong plus I don't know if ABC promoted it properly. That's not a dig. I honestly don't know. I don't believe that events or returns can have a real effect on ratings. It takes a long time to lose an audience and it'll take much longer to gain one.

I really enjoyed Jesse/Angie. I don't know why AMC thought it was necessary to kill Julia rather than just letting her move on. That just seems the way of ABCD however.

I don't remember a promo on Soapnet for it, I think the promo was Tad/Dixie/Kate

I think you're right with the downward momentum

According to Strasser, weren't the dailies for OLTL last Mon and Tues through the roof? I would imagine that would've lifted the rest of the ABC lineup. And I can't believe AMC didn't get some bump on its own, however slight, for the wedding. My guess is OLTL at 2.2 and AMC at 2.1, with an even further divide in the demos.

I can see AMC getting a slight bump, not a big one though

I agree with your assessments of the shows.

But y'all just don't believe that the ratings really don't dip and rise with the week's stories, do you? Not really, they don't.

And if they DID, we should all be horrified. Because if the shows really did rise and fall based on a week's stories, we'd see the shows do all kinds of horrific shock and awe just to increase eyeballs in a given week. And we'd be left with horrible plot driven messes with absolutely no long-term story.

What I believe is that both AMC and OLTL are good, and better than they were. With that in mind, I hope AMC and OLTL can sustain the quality, and the ratings will show a gradual increment due to the sustained quality.

I wonder how many people didn't even know what was going on AMC last week. I only heard about Jesse and Angie's impending wedding here, on this board. I saw very little, if anything, about it on TV, even during OLTL.

With Kick and Trick on the front burner, B&B should tank. Both couples are vomit inducing.
