Soap Opera Network has just learned that actors Brandon Beemer and Martha Madison, who portray the popular roles of Shawn D. Brady and Belle Black-Brady, have been let go from NBC's "Days of our Lives."

According to sources, "Belle" and "Shawn" will be written out of the show due to storyline purposes. Madison and Beemer will continue to tape episodes for approximately another month.

Is it possible that this is like a DH firing. Where we are supposed to believe they are leaving but in reality maybe they aren't or maybe it is just one of them. Atleast I can hope. Otherwise none of this makes any sense.

Nothing DAYS does every makes any sense. They never learn their lesson either. This is going to back fire on them huge kinda like getting rid of Drake did. I was exicted about Tamara coming but if we have to fire established characters then no I am not exicted anymore. This better be so bad joke.

Corday has lost his damn mind. He really had. This makes no sense at all. At all. Martha was loyal and would've stayed in the part ofr years. This is so stupid. It makes no sense. Why bring Nadia back then?

I love Steve and Kayla but even I know they should go before two characters in their prime.

Oh I am sure this was Ken's decision. If he can't do his precious Brady and Chloe, he will do Phillip and Chloe. Chloe has to shine. That is why Shelle got screwed and Belle was stuck with Phillip under JER while Broe got everything including the big beautiful wedding and send off. So he is going to do Phillip and Chloe big time so Chloe can shine and because he couldn't Kyle back. Shelle had to do go. They can't outshine Chloe and her man.

I think I want to vomit lol Seriously, I can't even begin to fathom why they would do this, and I am beyond shocked. Not only are Belle and Shawn connected so closely to John and Marlena, and Bo and Hope, but they are EXACTLY the right age of character to be featuring. Honestly, I give up on this show lasting when they continue to make such horrible moves. Poor Martha, she loves this show too.

Seriously, was he sacred because Phelle was building a fanbase so he axed both Shawn and Belle to protect his precious Shelle? I don't get this at all. Corday is always pimping the young characters and now he gets rid of two viable ones. DUMB!!

I'm sorry, but why would DAYS use this as a ratings ploy (I know this is DAYS)? Shawn and Belle were never a Bo and Hope or Marlena-type ratings draw for the show, if Shawn and Belle were to somehow come back in a few months, it would not impact ratings in anyway IMO. Hell, we just saw how Drake's return made no difference to DAYS' ratings last week...
