Im excited for the ball - and that some of it will be told in reverse. Its awlays intersting to watch things like that.

As for the promo's... i think they are all great, except the would you die foir love doesnt fir most of them. I think it firs Skate. They had the best one as well, IMO. However i love the concept just wish it was diff and fir for every couple. Liz & Lucky could be "Would you give up on love?" Scrubs could be "Whould you walk away from love?" Nem could be.. idk. something. and JaSam could be "Would you turn on the one you love?" soething like that.

Okay so I just watched them all but it seems like the clips are from previous episodes and nothing showing what will happen in the future...plus the tagline to me is not the best one they could have chosen.

Still though I like it when soaps have these big balls and events. Its an oppurtunity to see excellent fashion and costume design. Plus the sets usually look great. Like the ATWT ball that occured last year was really good.

I give props to GH for using the "L" word which they only ever allowed Sonny & Carly to use for the last seven years.

But these promos strike we as depressing, unromantic and curiously lacking in love. I mean, JaSam? Lucky & Liz? Please. Guza destroyed those ships ages ago.

In the new SID Guza said November is answering the question - would you die for love, so i guess thats the big promo this month. the sid spoilers for gh look good, i just hope the rumor about emily isnt true

The clips are nice but the tag line has nothing to do with any of the clips. None of them show anyone in any life threatening situations.

I was actually pretty pleased that L&L2 and Jasam got the promo and not Jiz. There are few things in soaps I hate more than that couple, and maybe this is a small indication that Guza meant what he said about the former two being the true "destiny couples".

I am SO excited about the ball. I do so love a good soap ball. I'd be a lot more excited, though, if it weren't looking like they were about to kill off another Quartermaine.

Thank you because that question has nothing to do with any of the scenes depicted in those promos and they have not previewed anything that is remotely related to that tagline. They probably thought it was provocative enough to catcher viewers' attention but it's not being backed up by anything. Someone needs to sacrifice himself for a loved one for it to make sense and even then it won't apply to every single person in the promos.

In the run-up to these shitastic promos, one imagines the meeting over at ABC Daytime went something like this:



"Love in the Afternoon." What does that mean? Do you know anything about this?

Well, Brian, back when I was on multiple-Emmy-award wining Santa Barbara©, ABC ran those promos called "Love in the Afternoon." They were meant to promote their Daytime line-up as being chock-full of romance, love and excitement!

Sure. I can tweak the SLs so that Death and Destruction comes their way, too. That way it will all fit the marketing campaign and make perfect sense!
